Parking: I don't really know about parking. it's close to buildings and dorms but there are so many rules it makes people not want to park their cars anywhere.

3 College Freshman

Parking: It is very easy to get fined. During class time it is very hard to find a parking spot because of the availability.

Parking is essential at Savannah State University. The administration is working to make SSU more of a "walking" campus, but in the meantime, in order to park on campus, you are required to have a parking decal. For residents, it is $40 for the year (the orange decal), $35 for commuters (the blue decal), so all in all, the prices are decent.

Parking is strictly enforced, with officers making sure students properly park in the right areas. If students don't follow the rules, they will receive a ticket. These tickets are forwarded to the Chatham County Police Department; therefore, do the right thing and follow the rules. Otherwise, you're going to be spending anywhere between $20 and $125 to pay for something that could have been avoided.
