College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I don't often dine off campus and couldn't vouch for those who are vegetarian.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Eating off of campus is way better than eating campus food everyday , but eating out can come very expensive.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Most if not all of the places surrounding my school have a discount of some kind. There are places where you can eat fast food or dine in with affordable prices depending on where you go. All are close to the campus which is convenient.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There is a lot of variety to choose from so don't have to each the same thing all the time.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Like i said before plenty of food places not far from camp. Like every freaking fast food chain down the road. Zaxby's, chickfila arbys, taco bell, starbucks, pop-eyes, wendys, mcdonalds. yada yada

Looking for lunch or even some midnight grub? There are many locations to eat at off campus, from down the street to downtown, McDonald's to Chinese food. There is much variety—especially in regards to fast food.

The distance of the eating establishments from the University isn't bad, although the only restaurants within walking distance are a seafood joint and a Chinese spot. Many locations are open until 1 a.m. or even 24 hours. The prices are not inflated, so it's regular-priced food. There are no kosher or vegetarian locations, but Piggly Wiggly, which is down the street from SSU, has a kosher section in its grocery store, and it also has sushi. Downtown Savannah has many eating locations, but seafood is in abundance, considering you're right next to the ocean.
