3 College Junior

Nightlife: Nightlife at my university for upperclassmen is usual catered off-campus. Students that are 21 and older usually attend bars downtown on River Street, or house parties at off-campus housing. If students want to go downtown to enjoy the nightlife scene, they can catch the Cat Prowler, which is the city bus that school rents on weekends that run from 8pm- 2am. The transportation is free with the student's school I.D.

2 College Junior

Nightlife: The city is more for older people and younger people tend to stay on campus or head to the beach to have fun.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: Night life at savannah is okay, they have their parties at clubs that's about 1o minutes away from campus.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: the only reason this section got seemingly high score is because there is a bar right across the street from school but I have never been there so I couldn't tell you much.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: Nightlife is amazing. It's not necessary a party school like most people would say. We just like to have fun. And the parties on campus are provide by the organizations at the school so that we won't get bored or go off campus and out our safety at risk.

Nightlife at Savannah State is quite interesting, starting off with the first freshman party hosted by Student Orientation Leaders, which gets students active and socially savvy. In addition, organizations and promoters throw parties in favor of the freshmen. However, most parties are hosted off campus, and you must be 18 or older to attend or have a valid SSU ID.

For those who are 21 and older, there is so much more to offer, including clubs, lounges, bars, and restaurants that are more like a club atmosphere, located in the Chatham County area and River Street. Finding out about parties is very easy. Students usually find out via Facebook, Twitter, text message, fliers, and ultimately through word of mouth. Parties are affordable, running between $5 and $10. As the party gets packed, inflation does occur, so it is advised that you don't come too late. House parties are thrown occasionally by different organizations and party promoters. Overall, the party scene is fun, safe, and accessible.
