Academic Flexibility: So far I have had no problems in this area. This school does everything they can to ensure Academic Flexibility.

Online Courses: They just updated their online platform for classes. I have been very satisfied with the online experience. They have made it very easy to communicate with fellow students and the professor. It seems that there is no stopping point when it comes to trying to improve the student experience.

Tuition & Financial Aid: With the price of admission going up Sauk will go above and beyond to help you find assistance. I love the teachers and the classes.

Academic Experience: I'm a computer science major, and I've had some fun classes. I enjoy all of them, and they are all what I've expected. The Gen-eds are pretty fun, too. I've only encountered a couple courses that I genuinely dislike, but that's okay.

Student Body: The student body here is pretty diverse for the small town that SVCC resides in, but that doesn't mean that the student body is strange. I like the diversity and the different personalities that I encounter, as well as the beliefs and practices of some of the more diverse students. SVCC has a lot of adults that have come back for a degree, but there are plenty of fresh students as well, so don't be worried about finding somebody fun to hang out with.

Academic Experience: I wish that the online classes were a bit more user friendly. A lot of them require a lot more work than a standard class, and the reading is pretty heavy. On campus, though, I enjoy my classes. After a semester or two, I learned which professors graded harder than the others, and found out for myself who some of them were. Altogether, SVCC offers a good academic experience.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that SVCC is good at what they do. It isn't expensive, as it only costs $101/credit hour, and I received a scholarship that pays most of my expenses. SVCC's offices know what's going on, unlike some other schools that I had visited. The employees are nice and will help in any way possible. SVCC is only a Community College, but it offers a great education to those that are willing to learn.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: My school mostly consists of working-class people with full-time jobs and families. My school makes any adjustments for these people as easy as possible and have many resources available to help in just about any situation.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I'm getting is well worth the money I'm paying. I was able to get financial aid. The financial aid department was very helpful in filling out any forms necessary and also showed any scholarship opportunities available.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The class schedules are very flexible. I am able to work around my personal schedule both with campus classes and online classes.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: They were very helpful with finding a new career path.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The workload is typical for a college student. Learned a lot.
