Career Services: I never used the career center for after graduation.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Dedicated Skilled Faculty – The faculty comes from the field they are training, and provide excellent instruction and support to help each student do their absolute best.

5 College Junior

Student Body: Great Diversity, Great Opportunties – Students range in age from teens to their 60's, and all ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds. The one thing we all have in common- our desire to learn and achieve.

Online Courses: All the procedure for the Online Courses was easy, and after it I learned how to do most of the work by myself.

Academic Flexibility: My Experience – I chose this school because its very convenient to me in the aspect that its local and it fits with my everyday schedule. It transfer credits to college and universties and that is one thing I also like about it.

Overall Experience: So far my experience in my school has been pretty awesome, because I'm learning new and interesting stuff. I always focus in doing my work and in turn it in on time. I feel very happy with my school experience so far because it was something unexpected.

College Senior

Academic Experience: I haven't even made it to the program yet because financial aid won't tell you anything until after everything is due. I'll be surprised if I actually make it there this year because I have no money to pay for the program now thanks to them.

College Junior

Career Services: Post Grad – I have not arrived at that avenue in my academic career with this school in particular, but I have heard they are strongly affiliated with the school I plan to transfer into.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student body is diverse, some students are in a dual enrollment from high school, others are of regular college age, and some are older than the normal college student. Most are very dedicated to their work although there are always a few that are not entirely there.

Academic Experience: SCTI Review for New LPN Students – I am only involved in the LPN program, so I can't speak for any other programs, but they are very patient. Also we have extremely up to date equipment, so that is also a big boost for the school.

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: Limited Steps Toward Online Courses – The school is slowly adapting the traditional class instructions to the online environment. Currently there are few classes offered online.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Intense Clinical Study – SCTI is well Known for the large amount of time that is spent in clinical studies. This is a great benifit for a Practical Nursing Student. Hands on nursing is a critical component in a nursing studies program. Many students excel in the classroom but have to struggle in clinicals. This experiance truly allows a student to determine if this is the profession he or she will flourish in.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Limirted Access for the Non-Traditional Student – As a person attemting to go back to school to train in the medical field the challenge of funding is considerable. Having family responsibilities precludes being only a full time student. A living must be made and obligations must be meet. It is unlikely that an actually working person can qualify for financial aid due to income restrictions. Loans are the most viable route but with my school this is not offered as an option. The only method is to use a payment plan which can be quite onerous.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: I was never notified that an online course was available.

1 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: not all the programs at SCTI are eligible for pell grants.
