Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Santa Rosa Junior College isn't a stereotypical junior college. It is filled with a diverse group of students eager to learn and move on with their intended majors. The academic life is quite elite for a junior college. The campus gives the feeling of an old prestigious institution. Not only do the buildings give students the feeling of attending a private institution, but the teachers are also of great quality and are all very passionate about the subjects they teach.

Between the array of classes offered and the superb athletic teams, SRJC has created a community among students and the residents of Santa Rosa. The school was intended to be a feeder school for the University of California system, and still is to this day, with a special program designed for the direct transfer of students to various UC campuses. Students who attend SRJC can transfer to four-year universities with confidence.

Career Services: The career services are very helpful. They give you information about the school you want to go to and what you have to do for your major to get into the college. They also help you take a test to see what career would be best for your abilities.

Student Body: There is a big range of diversity at this college campus. Everyone is accepted and treated right. However, this is what I have seen. I haven't seen anyone get picked on and I havent seen any fights. It seems to be a fun and hardworking school.

Academic Experience: I haven't taken classes yet for my major but i feel like it is going to be a lot of fun. The Junior college goes to other colleges and ask what they would like the JC student s to have finished before the want to transfer. Which is really helpful and reliable.

Academic Experience: I have had some bad experiences with teachers at this school. For the classes I have taken, the work load has been bare able.

Facilities: What makes us different from other schools, is the fact that almost everyone knows each other from high school or from doing sports in high school. This community is very friendly and a great community.
