Academic Flexibility: The whole Santa Ana Colleg experience is one I won't forget. It has made me a better person on the basketball court and in the classroom. The classes are great. The professors are people you want to keep in touch with. My basketball coaches are awesome. The flexibility of the classes are easy, good amount of work and always have something useful to relate back to life.

I transferred from another community college and transferring was a peice of cake. My coach helped me with every step of the way.

The major fustration that I have is financial aid. I do qualitiy for it but I think I very deserving of it.

Overall Experience: My favorite experience is of course being a student athlete and having the privilage to be put first. The priority registration helps so mich because I know I am on the right track, I get to have more connections with the staff, and it makes my life a little less of a hassle.

One more favorite experience is that I met different people and shared didn't values, ideas and attitudes. One example is the women's basketball team. My teammates are very unique and outgoing. I learned so much from them from how to play basketball, how to better myself on the court and in the classroom, and of course knowing more people can help you in each other's futures. As well, the coaches staff are people I will not forget. They helped me very step of the way and I am so thankful. They truely care for you as a person and a basketball player.

I would choose this school over my other community college from where I transferred from because I am honestly say there are providing me with more options in life, connections with great people and the people in general that I have met i consider my friends for life.

Facilities: The unique qualities of Santa Ana College is going through college as an athlete. These athletes on campus including myself have first priority of classrooms because they have to make sure there is no intereference with their sport. We always have assistance all around us from, athletic trainer, Athletic directors, chairmen, coaches and professor(everyone).

Also, I recently when to a seminar based on a professor talking about bullying of Lesbians and Gays. The professor himself was gay and very open about it which was great. He made the presentation very informational, caring and he definitely makes a difference. He told us students come up to him to tell them ther problems with their sexuality, bullying or just simply to vent. I wasnt aware of troubles on campus about that but I'm glad we have staff fixing it and trying to make it a fair campus.

Career Services: I haven't looked too much into the post-grad service, alumni network and job prospects. I know I can always go to my coach for any help and connections to help with my education further down the road.

Student Body: In all my classes, I had made a friend and still keep in contact when the class is done or transferred. The classmates I talked to were very determined and had big dreams. Some say the want to major in politics, biology and engineering. I met a girl who was once in my Statisitics class and she got accepted and transferred to CAL. I thought that was terrific because most of my extended family didn't go to college.

The diversity of the student body is huge. I believe that all the student work well together even if you are asian, white, africa american, indian, etc because we all have the same goal which is to pass the class and be successful.

There might be some challenges with communication issues but the students are polite and have patience to make it work.

Campus Resources: I absolutely love the athletic centers. As I said before, i personally know the athletic trainers, the chairmen and many athletic coaches They are all very intelligent, polite, energentic and great people to know forever. They all care about their athletes and their personal lives.

The libraries is a good size and has alot of resources. I go in their for study groups, use a computer or to do homework. Observing my surrounding, I see students renting lab tops, checking out books, printing and doing whatever they need to do with the library's assistance.

The campus over all is growing. Santa Ana college has a small high school inside the campus so I think that is really interesting because the students already experience college at the same time. I even had a high school student in my Statistics class and he was talking six classes in high school and two college course. That was very impressive and great to see someone exceeding.

The campus is changes in a postiive way. I always seen construction to fix older building, the parking lots or something for the high school. The campus is clean and well maintained. The is alwasy security all day and night which makes a student feel safe and protected.

Campus Resources: Being in the library is very helpful. I get to have alone time to do work or set a time to be in a group room to study and do projects in an enclosed room.

The printing and copying is easy and quick because of the printing cards. These cards you stick in a machine and allows you to print for only 10 cents. T

The network reliability is pretty good. Sometimes, i can get a singal but its not to hard to just move to another location and get it. It is not a huge problem at all.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I personally have not even walked into the financial aid office because I do not get it from my parent's income. So,dealing with school's tuition is okay because I have a great parents who pay for all my classes. However, it can be a little bit of struggle when we pay full amount of everything with no help. Basically, my only option is to do as many scholarships as I can to help them with the money part.

I believe that students who have the grades to prove the are worthy of money should be able to have a little bit of help. Even if its only for a cost for a book.

Online Courses: The online courses were very easy but made me learn alot. Since the professor is not phyiscal in front of you, a student can just wait for answers and be lazy. Of course you have to do all the homework independently, but you have the privilage to do it on your time. The professor always has time to answer her emails or avaliable on campus during office hours.

The unique characteristic of online courses is that, in my opinion, makes you work a little harder than a lecture. It makes you research more and fully understand the concept.

Academic Experience: Being a Kinesiology major, I have many opportunities and help around me. My basketball coach helps me with my class schedule. My athletic counselor answers all y questions. I have interviewed and met with the chairmen of Kinesiology and he has given me great advice and assistance.

Academic Experience: Since I am an athlete(Women's basketball), priority registration is very easy and quick. I get all the classes I need to stay on track. Also, the professors are caring and helpful with avaliable office hours, studying strategies, tutoring times and other resources. As well, I know the athletic trainers very well and they give me tips and advice on what they did in their college lives and how their career are beneficial.

Overall, spending my time at Santa Ana college for about 8 hours a day is very interesting, enjoyable and never a waste of time. Everything I need for school, eat and help is either on campus or walking distance.
