Career Services: I absolutely love this school and the program I am currently in. The instructors are friendly, and do everything in their power to help you learn. They are there to help you overcome any roadblocks you may encounter. The financial aid department is very helpful as well. Wintress helped me and didn't make me feel inferior for needing financial help. I would recommend this school very highly to anyone.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Althought the tuition is in the twenty thousands yearly, the possibility of landing that job after externships is higher than I expected

Student Body: Our students are well mannered, and well behaved. We are mature and eager to take on challenges

Career Services: The quality is above average. The career center makes sure we all get our foot in to the door, the networking is great. We even have our name as a school on television. The job prospects are great, recruits come in to our campuses frequently.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Its sometimes hard to understand but they do their best

Campus Resources: Facilities Atmosphere – The campus is clean and pleasing to the eyes. The classrooms, student center, career office seem to be a good size & organized.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Don't Procrastinate – There are several financial aid documents that need to be completed prior to enorllment and during the enrollment process. I recommend getting this done as soon as possible prior to your enrollment date. I believe the amount of the tuition will be well worth the education I will gain. I am doing a career change and the field I have chosen will always be around. There is a great demand for it.

Student Body: The majority of the sudent body 80-90% is female. We have several different races here, white, black, mexican, latino. We also have a wide age range of students from 19 to in their 60's. Religion and politics are really not discussed much. The majority of the discussion is school related or social related. Students are mixed as far as married/significant other and dont have to work, single and do have to work. As with any large group, people break up into sub groups. Many of us find life time friends here. And I would venture to say that some might even have found a significant other among their fellow students.

Academic Experience: Medical Assisting Program – I am in the Medical Assistant program. Being a Medical Assistant means being a "Jack of All Trades." We must know both the front office which includes registration of patient, entering data in the Electronic Health Record data base, proper forms, some coding and billing, HIPPA standards, and much more.

We must also know the back office, which includes proper room prep, preparring the patient for the doctor to see, taking vital signs, being a dectective and charting all findings to better assist the doctor in making a diagnosis, drawing blood for lab tests, urine analysis, preparing for and assisting in minor surgeries in the office or hospital, at all times maintaining the safety of the patient, ourselves, and our coworkers with proper asepsis, being a compassionate and reassuring go between for the patient/doctor relationship, and anything else the doctor wishes us to do.

The workload is intense because the course is accelerated. Every 5 weeks we change classes. I spend about 30 hours a week on homework. The curriculum covers as much as possible in our limited time frame for classes.

The facility at Sanford Brown St. Peters is relatively new. It is organized well and offers adequate classroom space. The library is an excellent place for students to come to study, use the computers, and do research with its books, magazines, reference materials, and on line resoures.

The last 15 weeks of our program is our internships. We are encouraged to chose several areas of interest for job potentials and the school tries to place us in those areas. Many students get their jobs from doing their internship work.

Career Services also offers lifetime assistance in resume writing, helping to guide you to job opportunites, etc.

Academic Experience: Academic Experience – Sanford Brown is an accredited school that has very high standards for its teachers and students alike. The teachers all have several years experience in their chosen medical field and therefore much wisdom to share with the students.

The teachers are dedicated to helping the students succeed in school to the best of their ability. Many of the teachers use different teaching styles to try and reach all the students who obvioulsy have different learning styles. They offer question time in class and are available to the students both before and after class also.

Even after the class is over and a new one has begun, the teachers are available to assisting students in whatever means they can to continue to further their education, offer advice, or guidance in a particular matter.

I am very glad I chose to come to Sanford Brown in St. Peters, MO. I have met many teachers that are now mentors and role models for me. I know that when I graduate in March 2013, I will be prepared for my career.

Campus Resources: The Libraries Are Phnomenal – Anything you will need for your program of study are there when you need them no questions asked.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: They Have Everything You Need. They have all of the nursing supplies you will ever need to make sure you know what you are doing when you get into the working world. They are more organized than i would have thought possible.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: They Have Everthing We Need for Technology. The computers in the labs work great. They are easy to use and no hassle at all. They are easy to learn on and easy to understand.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Easy to Get Help When You Need It. My education is very important to me. I left a school that did not meet my standards. Sanford Brown makes it easier to focus on the classes and when you need help, especially for financial aid, they will assist in with every means possible. All you ever have to do is ask. They make everything easy to understand, including the financial aid process. I feel comfortable with what i need.

Campus Resources: Computer Network at Sanford Brown St. Peters – Computer labs and the library are easily accessible, and have very convenient hours. I could easily access and print any information needed, at almost anytime, with no problem at all. The school freely supplied plenty of ink & paper and computers at all times. This made research for homework assignments so convenient. Computers were very dependable, and even with the vast amount of internet access being used at any given time, computers were never very slow.

Academic Flexibility: My Sanford Brown St. Peters Experience – The staff was warm & welcoming from the very first day, they have always gone out of their way to assist the students with grasping as much information as they possibly can. The night time classes fit my schedule perfectly, and the St. Peters location is a very convenient commute. Financial Aid handled everything for me financially and I have easily pulled off an A in almost every single class, due to the precise information that was given to me and which I studdied and retained from each class. I have come so very far in just 12 years, a new career awaits me.

Career Services: Career Center – while in school advisors are eager and willing to help with job search and making sure you are on the right track

1 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: All They Care About Is Money. They credits hardly transfer anywhere. I am so very sorry I went there.

Overall Experience: I can't believe how bad the financial aid department is. what a joke. No-one will explain my financial aid to me and I have been there for eight months now. Anytime you ask them something they don't know. I am not the only one having problems with that department. The dean does not even call you back. They also charged me full price for a book that was used. They charge us for books we don't even use. I am too far in debt now to go somewhere else. I am sorry I went there.

Career Services: Career Center – The career center at my school is very weak. I mean only thing i ever see them do is post jobs on a board in the hallway. They are nothing extravagant.

College Junior

Online Courses: I dont beleive they have any online course and I have not taken one with them.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Sanford Brown Must Improve – Sanford Brown has shown me a very oustanding learning experience hands on and book wise and I am pretty comfortable however I beleive that they should possess better resources for there students. I know that my credits dont really transfer but I also know that my certification will allow me to bridge over. I think that sanford Brown should also invest in better equipment because it takes more out of pocket to purchase items with quality. I love the learning experience and I understand that there is always room for improvement in most areas but the quality of the equipment shouldnt be one of them expeccially when your tuition is over twenty thousand dollars.

3 College Senior

Career Services: Post-Grad Service – The career center is okay, the alumni association is not that big as far as active alumni members. I think the school's career center could do a better job in helping students acheive jobs in the field they went to school for and have more job fairs for the students.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: The School's Resources – The school's library is fantastic. You have access to many computers and books and magazines. There are many different tutor groups through out the school. There are also many clubs that pertain to the specific programs. There is also a association club ran by students to raise money for the student emergency fund here on campus.
