3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Excited to begin the ADN program and hope to complete it in the most efficient time possible not take 2 years since I have a bachelors elsewhere and have plenty of time in my class schedule!

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Difficult to relate to professors and some show favoritism!

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Wide variety from nursing and health occupations to vehicles, mechanics, beauty school, and even culinary school. It even offers continuing Ed such as certificate programs!

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: They have wonderful spaces within the garden/horticulture areas. If they put as much work into the other places that would be great! Eg. Improving the labs so they meet state requirements for exams as they are a main campus!

College Sophomore

Student Body: I don't know the student body, never been introduced and I don't receive emails or events from the student body!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Library always available for use and very organized. Can usually find what it is I am looking for.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Computer network works average and only available within buildings. Computer labs are only available when your instructor is present. The library is the only place where an instructor is not needed and I find this ridiculous!

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: They are basic, some professors take forever to respond and are not involved in the class discussion but still grade you and do not provoke learning by instigating further conversation or ideas.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have has to pay the difference as a veteran of the US Military between out of state and in state tuition. The fees are crazy for an individual on VA disability who is unable to work in their previous line of work as a military police officer. Additionally, I am currently unemployed to make matters worse. I also have a BS in that same line of work in criminal justice that I cannot use. There is minimal help for students in this odd situation. The only help I have received was through VA and the school for the yellow ribbon program. As of last semester and this semester I have had to pay nearly 2500 out of pocket and have no more savings to pay for classes and books. My books in the fall will cost me at least $700.00

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: My academic advisor is terribly hard to get in touch with and has a difficult time getting back to students.

2 College Sophomore

Career Services: I haven't used it other than looking at job availability. When following up and applying with those job announcements and postings, employers do not return decisions or respond back to applicants.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I've enjoyed the relatively low work load and the availability of the teachers. It has been a great overall experience.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Tutoring is available although I've been told that it can be difficult to get one depending on the subject and sometimes even they have no idea what the instructor has taught, but they try. Registering for classes was a piece of cake and the workload is not heavy at all.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I'm not sure because I haven't used these services, but it's easy to find out about these services on their website.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library is a very useful area for doing work and studying. I've been able to make a few friends in the student center, the only problem being the cost of the food in the cafeteria.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: I've never had many problems with the network. It's fast enough, and it's easy to find a place to print. I take my own laptop but only to pass time and do work after my classes are finished.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I'm slightly frustrated with one of my classes, which only allows 2 missed days. I've already missed both within less than two months because of snowy weather and living 45 minutes away, and the other because it was makeup work for a closed school day and I missed the turn in deadline by a few hours. My other classes are great though. The instructors are understanding and are sometimes willing to extend a due date by a day or two.

4 College Junior

Student Body: In regards to diversity, the students are diverse but are still accepting of each other.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The Library is a great study and work area. The online databases they provide us with and inform us about are especially helpful in providing credible sources for essays. The campus is always clean and up kept.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The quality of education is amazing and very affordable. The financial aid office is honest about the tuition and works with students to figure out ways to be able to afford their education.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I've noticed that the professors are quite passionate about the subject they teach and are more than willing to help, which I believe makes my school unique. The staff are incredibly friendly and encouraging when it comes to assisting students. I would choose my school again because students receive personal attention from the teachers making it possible to really delve into the subject.
