4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Great, they do what they can

2 College Junior

Scholarships: they lose documents, always ask for documents I've already turned in, make receiving aid hard when college is hard enough to pay for already. Seems as if they're greedy.

4 College Junior

Facilities: A lot to do and a lot of resources not all students take advantage of.

4 College Junior

Academics: Love the students and colleagues I interact with. My major courses are always fun and upbeat and the professors have great knowledge.

3 College Junior

Academics: More classes should be offered so students can graduate on time

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Havent explored everywhere in san jose yet

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Great experience as a freshman! Met many people who I still consider family till this day

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Not too bad or dictating.

5 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Love the urban city feel and the artsy events that go on downtown.

5 College Junior

Athletics: BUT we pay too much money for athletics instead of focusing on more money for extra classes

5 College Junior

Nightlife: Living in downtown and having your school in downtown is awesome, especially once you hit 21.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Courses may be hard to get in to due to availability but most professors are awesome and so far I have learned a lot.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Recruiters and programs are offered to help the graduation process of finding a job easier

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Apartments in downtown, in close proximity to school are very limited. If you want to live by school you will be paying a ton of money to have an average apartment with limited parking so prepare for a lot of parking tickets. The availability is tough, and there is a lot of competition to stay near school. The location can be sketchy but police and UPD are near to help.

5 College Junior

Diversity: Diversity is highly promoted on campus and this is why I chose SJSU. Nobody is discriminated against.

4 College Junior

Majors: A lot of resources, helpful staff, tutoring is always available, and programs are created to help find jobs and internships after college.

College Junior

Majors: I haven't had one yet

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Downtown San Jose has a cool atmosphere. The school's presence is becoming more known and will eventually have a college town vibe.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food is pretty good for a dining hall. I can't complain compared to other schools. Fresh fruit consistently, free jamba juice and tully's coffee, and a good variety.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Freshman dorms are mainly for socializing and a typical dorm unless you are in the suites. The suites on campus are extremely nice but can also be expensive

4 College Sophomore

Greek Life: It's prevalent but not everything

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Engineering, business, mass communications, CHAd- there are strong academics. Workload can vary depending on your major.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Classes are generally small unless it is an extremely popular GE. It is not hard to talk to your professor as most classes are about 30-60 people on average

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Football season tailgates are the best part of fall semester. There is a strong sense of school spirit.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Always walk with someone at night. Generally safety is okay, just be smart and you will be fine.
