4 College Junior

Campus Housing: it is convenient, but the price is pretty high.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: career prospects will depend on your area of study.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: the people are great and the administrators are ok.

College Junior

Greek Life: I am not greek but housing is available and relatively easy to find.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are a myriad of options to chose from, you cant go wrong with any choice.

3 College Junior

Athletics: the gym is okay, but the facility used by the teams is much better. sometimes it is open to students and it is fun to use. I advise to take every opportunity to use the other facility as much as possible

College Junior

Majors: i have not had an internship but when i am able to get one i will apply. Many people i know have been able to find internships pertaining to their field of study with relative ease.

4 College Junior

Majors: The programs do try to take care of you once you are in them, the build up to most programs is actually easier than it is to be in them. This is because of the prerequisites and other qualifications needed to be accepted.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Finding housing off campus can be pretty difficult and sometimes expensive, especially in the houses and apartments surrounding campus. Parking can be a pain since we are located in the middle of downtown, although public transportation is readily available everywhere you go so a car is not 100% necessary unless you are in a rush.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: There are stations where you may call the university police but the response time is often slow and sometimes useless.

4 College Junior

Diversity: there are many different people from all kinds of situations. There are many different ethnic groups that are represented at san jose, also many people have different gender identifications. It is a very diverse campus with everyone you could possibly think of

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: There is something to do. San Jose is a large city and whatever someone is into they will find others who like to partake in the same stuff

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: It all depends where in the dorms one lives. For example, the dorm life can be awesome if you go out to meet people and say hello. If you stay in your room then you won't get nothing out of it.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: employers recruiting seems to be constant throughout the year so if a student feels like they can't get a job that is a lie because they are not trying hard enough or their resume must be improved. It is better to be within some sort of organization like a fraternity because if one is able to enter they can access a great amount of networks. In this world it is not what you know, but who you know.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Some professors are great, some are horrible. Class size can be too much, or some classes I have had were great. Depending on the course will determine how many students will take it.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Basically whatever food one feels like eating can possibly find it near campus.

3 College Junior

Majors: It is all about how you present yourself on the resume. If it looks like your qualifications best suits what a certain program wants from a student then they will pick that student. Or if you know someone within the program to put in a good word for you then that also in great.

4 College Junior

Majors: It all depends on the internship, but they are mostly here to help the students become more experience with the major they have settle to have.

4 College Junior

Diversity: Everyone seems to get along, I have never heard so far where students don't get along with another group of individuals. Except whenever the people who oppose abortion (and these people aren't students). Those people are assholes! There have been times where they make the females feel bad and I have seen a couple of them crying.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Typical food that many campuses serve. Very convenient when one is hungry and semi-reasonable prices

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: on-campus: no alcohol should be present unless you are 21. Drugs are not allowed

4 College Junior

Athletics: For sports: Football is the most supported while the others still have a good foundation of fans, but not close to football. Intermurals are awesome, many of the greeks also take part of those. During basketball is when people like to come out and watch

4 College Junior

Nightlife: If you are under 21: House parties- if you know people those parties are pretty fun.

Greek life- if you are part of the greek system you can go to those parties that the fraternities are hosting. If you are not then there is a great chance you wont get in, unless you know someone within the fraternity or if you are a girl (of course).

If you are 21+: the bar scene in Downtown SJ is great. The bars are cool and the clubs are great. A lot of people go out from thurs-sat. The police are always patrolling so one feels safe knowing that there are officers around.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: The girls are beautiful! Thank God I didn't settle with some girl from back in HS. They ratio is about the same on campus. The social life is very open, one can tell that many students came to college to have a great time. Since they are paying for their education, they might as well make it worth it

Academics: The registration process can be irritating if one cannot get the classes they need for the semester. If one does not have priority or able to choose classes sooner than the rest then students are often searching for classes they don't need. Just to be able to fulfill the minimum 12 unit to be enrolled in school.
