Academic Experience: Each class had 1 project. Each project you'd have to present and by that, I've worked on my communication skills, speech, and my coordination. Each week was a quiz, 3rd week was midterm and 5th week was our final. I studied not to memorize but to learn and actually have knowledge.

Academic Experience: The Academics at this school provided us with great knowledge. There were many resources, especially in the medical field, i've discovered so much help in each of my classes. I knew that if you actually wanted this, you'd achieve the A you deserve but when you slack off, "party" rather than "study", your mind is twisted. I admit, my first mod, I was stuck in that surreal "college life" but after learning the professionalism and your academic appearance, I've valued my academics as my first priority.

Overall Experience: People are friendly, diversity is strong, activities are credible, and professionalism is enforced. Success only leads to how you value your success. They focus on us being able to do great in the real world, that what we present at school, we present greater outside. I've grown from attending this school.

Career Services: Like I stated in the previous review, they had me to "Mock Interviews" to prepare me. It showed me my strongest and weakest points when it comes to being interviewed. They also have a course that specializes only in Resume building as well as Applications and Professionalism. It helped me a lot. I wished I could've taken this classes prior to all my previous interviews and applications.

Overall Experience: Overall experience, it is the best because of the fact that they work with you to make sure you succeed and prepare you for reality. If I could, I would go back to when I was 18 and would've started this sooner rather than attending Community College in which I only complete my GED courses. It wasn't a waste but I wished I'd known about SJVC beforehand.

Overall Experience: I am about to enter my externship next week, and they've had me do "Mock Interview" which helped a lot as well as "Externship Orientation" of what to do and what not to do and expect at your externship. Ive learned that even though its an externship and you have to complete certain amount of hours, that you should take is as if its your career.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Im not familiar with how student fee's "standards" should be. But honestly, financial aid helped me. I also had to still pay monthly for the fee that wasn't covered by my loan or my financial aid. Overall, it is okay because I mean, to get to success, we have to start somewhere and I see this as an investment.

Online Courses: In the first mod, you have to complete a study plan to access your Math and English learning. It is recommended for all students. Those were the only online assignment you'd have to complete. We have Mr. Whyles, who attended to our help with the program and also tutors to help with questions students didn't understand.

Academic Flexibility: This week will be my last week of attending this school. I've learned so much within the 6 months I've been enrolled. At first, I didn't know how'd it be with me making new friends, since evening classes are more for mothers. And I, do not have kids nor am I married. But they made me feel comfortable and let me open up to them about anything. They became my family, my second moms, and sisters. My teacher understood when I was going through difficulty attending classes due to family emergency and gave me an opportunity to catch up on my work. It is by far the best decision I've made.

Student Body: The diversity of my school is excellent. It really puts "fun" into our learning. For example, today our "Commercial Drug" project was due and in my class we come from different ethnic backgrounds. As we were all presenting, you could hear our accents and how our cultures reflect the way we present things and understand the main topic of our project. For example, we have a Spanish women with a very strong accent. When she presented, her accented made in convincible. As in, I was influenced that I understood her language only because she made a medical term sound like a spanish term, if that makes sense.

Campus Resources: I attend a vocational college called SJVC (San Joaquin Valley College) in Temecula, CA. The campus has many resources for my Medical Assisting major. The student center has tutors that help you with study plans, as well as topics you're having difficulty in. We have access to laptops in each class to work on assignments, projects or anything school related. Each month, there is a new activity, like "Race for Cure" marathon that any student could attend, mainly fundraiser or health related events. Also, there are many administrator in each topic, like Career Service, Administration, Registration, Financial Aid. Help is always there.

Tuition & Financial Aid: When i got out of high-school in 2007 i looked at myself and wondered where i was going to go from there. i spent a couple of years doing things and living my life before coming back to education to finish it. when i enrolled into SJVC i thought to myself that it might be hard because i haven't been in school for so long. Once i took my loan out i was shocked of the amount of 20,000. but education has a price and i am working so hard to make every cent of that money worth wild.

Campus Resources: With over 1000 different books stored on there virtual library they have next to everything a student can wish for when it comes to resources. our student center may be small but its better that way so people can all get together and talk and have fun instead of spacing themselves out into there own groups.

Campus Resources: There is never a problem with our tech, Mr. Herman is a brilliant it person and is always on top of everything that may happen

Campus Resources: Our school is very big and it helps you with whatever you have a problem with. just make sure that you ask because they will never know unless you let them know. other than that there is always delicious food and snacks stored in our student center.

Career Services: Signing up for school and attending the classes day by day are easy for me , but its putting the gas into my care that kills me everyday, not only that but paying bills and rent make an individual wonder why they spent all that money to go back to school. At first i had it in my head that i could make it by myself and needed no ones help. Well i was wrong and learned a very important lesson in life about not being alone in the world and not having to face debt with school alone. I learned from my career adviser John Hall that i could get a chance to get free money from 1000 of different scholarships to help me with my time here and make it easier for me to live my life without having to worry if ill be able to make my next school payment on time.
