With only a small fraction of students living on campus, San Francisco State has more time and energy to increase the beauty of its facilities. The school's Humanities Building boasts an Egyptian museum! The buildings do range from quite old to very new, and sometimes lack the funding for proper bathroom cleaning, but in the end, there is almost always a place to sit and enjoy the University life, even as a commuter.
SFSU is also complete with a small but powerful gym: the Village Fitness Center, which is free to all on-campus students and open to commuter students for a small monthly fee. From those on the outside looking in, it may seem that SFSU is lacking in diverse facilities. But clearly that is not the case.
