Computers: They're okay. The main computer labs are crowded, but once you find the secret computer labs you're fine!

3 College Freshman

Computers: SFSU provides wifi almost everywhere around campus

3 College Freshman

Computers: There never seems to be computers available. If you printed everyday, it would be very expensive. The network is very slow, and you have to constantly be signing into your account.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: in the library, we can borrow laptop which is easy to access.

3 College Junior

Computers: The network reliability sucks! Sometimes it takes forever to log in, then I get kicked off frequently and have to log back in. It's irritating. The speed is fine when it actually works, though. There are a decent amount of computers, but there are A LOT of students, so it would be wise to bring your own laptop and print at home.

At San Francisco State, there is no need to worry about not having a computer. Most agree that there seems to be a lot of computer labs; people just need to know where to find them. In nearly every building on campus, there is a computer lab, varying from small (two to 10 computers) to large (100-plus computers), and printing is available at all of these locations. The times these on-campus labs are open often vary; however, during the week they are generally open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.

If you have your own computer or laptop, the entire campus (including all buildings, cafés, and eateries) is equipped with free Wi-Fi that you can access as long as you have your student ID number. Also, in the library, there is a 24-hour computer lab in Annex I.
