College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: None used but apply at EOPS if financial aid is needed

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: it is more expensive than expected because i am paying out-of-state tuition.

Tuition & Financial Aid: San Diego Miramar College , or even the San Diego Community College district really needs to be more considerate towards their students than worrying all too much about receiving their daily check.

It really pissed me off that the financial aid office couldn't help me because they said "your parent's income is too high" . I came with my father to explain our bankruptcy situation, but they still turned us down.

I get that times are tough but they gotta understand that we students go there to receive proper help for our future and to receive education. If they can't help us then I rather would go else where.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Because I have qualified for a nice amount of financial aid, I rarely have to pay any fees besides my health fee. I think it's reasonable.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am a returning student to Miramar College so the process is straightforward and expected. All documents are now available online which makes applying easier. Having the online and in office options are optimal for myself since I am a single mother and getting things done with a 4 month old can be a little complicated. My best advice for first time students is to visit the campus and learn about all of the resources the school provides.
