3 College Senior

Career Services: They have a lot of events/workshops in the career center and a job fair once a semester.

4 College Senior

Student Body: There's a bunch of different clubs. I'm part of a Christian club, there's various honor societies and there's a gay straight alliance.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: As long as you make a plan with a counselor and what classes to take its pretty easy.

3 College Senior

Facilities: They put on a lot of various stuff. I know its a pretty diverse campus demographically.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Most of the teachers I have had for required classes of the major have been great. There's not much internship notification but the teachers are enthusiastic about what they teach.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: You have to register as soon as possible after the date and time they give you, otherwise you might not get all of the classes you want. I think most of the professors are good.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think the tuition cost is reasonable for a community college. Its a good option for people if they just want to general education requirements first rather than paying a lot more money for the same classes at a university.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: it seems to be the same every where you go but overall helpful. they have tutoring classes and libraries. the school is under a lot of renovations but it is up and coming which is great.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: i usually don't use the computers at work but the school library has free wifi which is awesome.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: tuition has constantly been going up but that is thanks to the great economic state that is california

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: student body is a melting pot of san diego. overall, nondescript

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: the school is nice, its undergoing a lot of renovations so its definitely up and coming

3 College Freshman

Career Services: San Diego Mesa College is a community college, so most people do two years and then transfer to a university or trade school for their official degree where they pursue their career.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There is a lot of prerequisites and classes needed for my major of Biology to transfer to a university. The workload and units needed to take is a huge workload and time consuming.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: All of the professors that I have had so far are very helpful and know their subject that they're teaching very well. The class registration process is spread out, and classes fill up way too fast so I am behind in the huge coursework that I have to take to transfer to a university.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: San Diego Mesa College is on a hill and you can see the architecture from a mile away. They keep building new buildings with the latest technology and modern look. The new Math and Science building has the best classrooms and science labs. Along with private study rooms that are blocked off from the noise. The faculty is great and always helpful. Lastly, the social life at Mesa College is always active and kind.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: You definitely have to know how to manage your time and keep track f your workload because it is very easy to forget to do something or to put it off because there isn't the necessity of going to class and the pressure of face to face time with a teacher. Majority of the online teachers I have had have been great and communicating and showing enthusiasm for their class.

Overall Experience: I love what this school offers! The reason I would chose this school again if I could all over again is because it's not only such a beautiful school and the athletics here is superb, but the programs they offer here are like no other and it is definitely worth it.

College Freshman

Career Services: I am a first year.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: I see so many different ethnic backgrounds at my school! It's awesome to walk on a campus and see such a diverse group of people, it makes fitting in and not worrying about being a certain race.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I'm an athlete so having the availability of the athletic trainers is a huge plus and has been extremely helpful and needed. The student resource center is one of the best i have been to and is designed in a way where it's modern yet not excessive and its a great place to study and handle business.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I am taking an ASL class and we have a lab right after. The computers are in great condition and i would say 98% of them work perfectly.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I unfortunately am not eligible for financial aid which has been a little bit of a struggle for me since I moved to this city to study at this school, so I have more financial responsibilities including housing. I am extremely thankful that I was able to get the BOG-W which pays for my classes, that has saved me a lot of stress and money.

College Freshman

Academic Experience: I plan on majoring in Animal Health Technology but since I have had later add dates I have not had the privilege of being able to add a biology class which is required to even be considered into the program.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I have had all great professors so far, they are very understanding and they have made the learning process and exciting and bearable thing. The registration process like I said before is a little of a struggle but I have a feeling that it is inevitable.
