Overall Experience: I don't want to give Mesa all of the credit for helping me transfer, but the connections I made at Mesa will stay with me for the rest of my life, I hope. I have become great friends with some of the professors and there have been few faculty members that have always made me feel like they genuinely want me to succeed in life.

Student Body: I have made a lot of friends at Mesa that I wish to continue begin friends with even after I transfer. The people that I have become friends with are great students that share the common goal of transferring to a four year university. We all come from different socioeconomic backgrounds, but at the end of the day, we know we can get together for some laughs and good study review.

3 College Senior

Career Services: There are not many post grad services at Mesa that I am aware of.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The wide range of classes and times has made it possible for me to transfer in three years to great four year universities such as UCLA and UC Berkeley.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The new student resources center is amazing and provides students with great opportunities and resources.

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: Wireless access is very on and off, it does not cover the entire campus (including classrooms) and really only works in the library and student resource center. Printing is offered in the library printing center where you have to buy a printing card before being able to print your work. The network reliability is very poor.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The reason I went to community college was because of how cost efficient it was, after my freshman year at Mesa, unit price increased, it did not matter much at the time, but the next semester when classes were cut because they couldn't hire new professors, it was hard to swallow down that increased tuition fee.

Online Courses: Professors that teach online courses act as if they were assigned to do so and had no other choice but to accept. They do not communicate well and by the time you get ahold of them, the semester is almost if not already over.

4 College Senior

Facilities: Since Mesa college is such a large campus, there is a sense of pride there. Although there is not much pride when it comes to athletics, unless like myself you are an athlete, the study areas are utilized and people come together to assist each other for the most part.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Some of the professors are very passionate about what they are teaching, while others just seem to be going through the motions and bored with the subject.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: There are many on campus clubs and groups, the new student resources center has an amazing student learning center where round the clock tutors are provided.

3 College Senior

Career Services: They have a lot of events/workshops in the career center and a job fair once a semester.

4 College Senior

Student Body: There's a bunch of different clubs. I'm part of a Christian club, there's various honor societies and there's a gay straight alliance.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: As long as you make a plan with a counselor and what classes to take its pretty easy.

3 College Senior

Facilities: They put on a lot of various stuff. I know its a pretty diverse campus demographically.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Most of the teachers I have had for required classes of the major have been great. There's not much internship notification but the teachers are enthusiastic about what they teach.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: You have to register as soon as possible after the date and time they give you, otherwise you might not get all of the classes you want. I think most of the professors are good.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think the tuition cost is reasonable for a community college. Its a good option for people if they just want to general education requirements first rather than paying a lot more money for the same classes at a university.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: it seems to be the same every where you go but overall helpful. they have tutoring classes and libraries. the school is under a lot of renovations but it is up and coming which is great.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: i usually don't use the computers at work but the school library has free wifi which is awesome.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: tuition has constantly been going up but that is thanks to the great economic state that is california

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: student body is a melting pot of san diego. overall, nondescript

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: the school is nice, its undergoing a lot of renovations so its definitely up and coming

3 College Freshman

Career Services: San Diego Mesa College is a community college, so most people do two years and then transfer to a university or trade school for their official degree where they pursue their career.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There is a lot of prerequisites and classes needed for my major of Biology to transfer to a university. The workload and units needed to take is a huge workload and time consuming.
