Drug Safety: drugs are not a prevalent issue at samford. alcohol consumption is prohibited on campus, although people still do it but it is VERY minimal compared to other universities.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: College students get into drugs and drinking if they really want to, no matter how strict the school it. They mostly do it off-campus though.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Samford is a dry campus, and most students do not partake in drug use. However, if a student would want to partake in these activities, it would not be too difficult to get your hands on them.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Samford University is a dry campus. The drug and alcohol scene is not really a scene. If you try to find drugs and alcohol, you can find it, but as a whole Samford does not have a drug or alcohol scene.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I would really have to ask around to find drugs or alcohol. Neither are abundantly available.

Drugs are rare, but do exist on campus. Campus Safety is very strict about enforcing the no-alcohol/no-drug rules, so searching drugs out would really be the only way to find them. Therefore, peer pressure to do drugs is quite uncommon at Samford. Knowing your friends is important because even riding with someone who has drugs in their car can get you into trouble, too.

Usually, the only public display of smoking consists of tobacco, which takes place at night or between classes. Even these cases are not very often, so either people are great at keeping their drug use a secret, or drugs are simply not a frequent practice among students.
