2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I am now only able to receive student loans. I am assuming that this is because my parents income has increased. That being said, my parents have 5 children, one married son that is 28, me a college sophmore that is 21, a son that is a high school sophmore that is 16, a son that is a high school freshman that is 14 and a daughter that is a middle school 6th grader that is 11, there is no way that 67,000 a year between the 2 should be considered income enough to take care of the 3 children at home and continue to help me get thru the last 2 years of college. At this time I stll owe 1864.00 for this year and have no idea how I will pay. I work as a waitress to help pay for my auto and my schooling, I am doing my best to try to take care of this, but find myself at a lose. I have given you all this information to help you understand why I think it the financial aid is not adequate. I believe 67,0000 is low income, maybe not poor, but if society considers a 200,000 home a middle class neighborhood, why do my parents have to live in a 3 bedroom apartment.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The people in the financial aid office help you to the best of their abilities. No need to get mad at them if you don't qualify for something.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: I little to no trouble receiving financial aid. Sometimes I was missing a few papers, but it is very easy to fill out and return. A tip would be to fill out the financial aid application as soon as possible. The sooner the better.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I recived my financial aid, but I wish that I would recive more scholarships than loans

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I did not receive financial aid because of certain tax problems
