3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know, I don't plan to live off campus, too much of a hassle

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: trolley/bus is usually on time, sometimes not. shuttle sometimes gets too busy and then takes forever to pick you up.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: it is convenient housing except for some further away but the bus system goes by most. generally i am happy but the RAs sometimes do not enforce things and sometimes people are loud.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: other than it being newport and therefore there being expensive places it is good if you know where to look for less expensive restaurants that are still good quality

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: in the fall and spring it is hopping with tourists, kind of dead in the winter

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: i just really don't like the parking rules. other than that im happy

4 College Sophomore

Academics: nursing is really strong, competitive and after college hired quickly. it is a very difficult program with a lot of workload but is a well thought of curriculum and the facilites and clinicals are very good. there is also a summer study abroad program as well

3 College Sophomore

Computers: generally don't have issues, sometimes issues with the wifi, usually fixed efficiently, some dorm rooms don't have as good access as others.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: generally during the winter everything shuts down, there are generally only small house parties since often the police show up if it gets too loud etc. at least people are paranoid about it

College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Its not huge but there are definitely people who do drugs but not that I have ever seen beside marijuana and alcohol.

4 College Freshman

Computers: There are so many computers on campus and in the library.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: House parties are all I have been to and they get broken up by cops too easily. Older kids who are 21 go to bars and have a great time.

College Freshman

Greek Life: We don't have greek life at my school.

Campus Strictness: There really is nothing out of the ordinary about my school's campus strictness.. The rules are reasonable and not overly strict.

Overall Experience: My school is definitely the right match for me, I couldn't imagine going to school anywhere else and what it would be like not living here now. I would choose my school again if I did it all over, but I just wish I searched for schools more, so I could be sure that there is nothing else out there that is better. I especially love how my school looks around the holidays and how decorated it gets. The people and atmosphere is great here.

Weather: The weather is usually agreeable, sometimes a little rainy.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: The girl to guy ratio is about 70% girls to 30% guys especially in my grade. There is way more girls than guys. A lot of the guys are athletic or football players and many of them can be stuck up and rude. A lot of the guys all sway towards a group of girls so the rest of the girls are left out.

Overall Experience: I absolutely love the school, it was my first choice from the beginning. However, it being such a small wealthy school might make it a little cliquey. Some people can be snobby and it is kind of hard to find a good group of friends with that energy around.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: There is definitely many wealthy students on campus due to the high tuition of the school. There are also some students who are middle or lower class and with the help of financial aid and scholarships are able to attend, like myself. There are people of all different sexual orientations at my school and I think that is great.

Facilities: The architecture of the campus and it's buildings are absolutely breath taking. It is very detailed and many of the buildings the classrooms are in are mansions. I also love that campus is right on the water. It is such a beautiful thing to look at while walking through campus.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: There is definitely always something to do on campus, especially the weekends. They usually have something fun to do on Friday and Saturday nights like game nights or dances. They will also usually have fun free activities going on during the week to keep the students entertained.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: My college is located in a small wealthy town. There is a lot of things and places open during the fall and spring time but everything is really closed during the winter so there is not much to do.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I like living on campus. The dorms are kind of old and the bathrooms could use better cleaning but they seem to get them updated. People are always socializing in dorms and in the hallway so that is a good thing. However, because of the cost of room and board, I believe that the living conditions and such should be much better than they currently are.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: My school is strict with some things but not with others. Quiet hours aren't really enforced especially on my floor. Also visitation is really linnet with my school, anyone can really stay over. However, they are very strict with parking, breaking up parties, and underage drinking

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: People do like to party at my school. It is usually done off campus which is sometimes hard to get too.
