Overall Experience at Salter College: The campus is clean, well organized, and impossible to get lost on. There is a nice handful of students. The athletics there are tremendous. The strip club and puppy hotel backround really helps assure me that I am recieving a quality edujewmacation.

Campus Resources at Salter College - Chicopee: it was good to print and not be charged a thing. the onl thing they need is a faster network and wifi and they could get an A+.

Campus Resources at Salter College - Chicopee: compared to other medical assisting programs we are the only one that has a 14 month program and you leave with your associates. the vice president of the school is a woman you can talk to and she takes care of things like she said she would and then asks and checks in you to make sure you are happy with the outcome. other than that there is not much life... it is an up and coming college.

Campus Resources at Salter College - Chicopee: It could be better if we actually had student centers and a stocked library. The campus is alot smaller than other colleges. but they make it work with what they have.

Academic Flexibility at Salter College - West Boylston: To Re-Do or Not to...That Was the Question – Unfortunatley I was told that they did not accept transfer credits from other colleges. I have an associates and was told that the same classes I would be taking again that this partcular program entails I woud just have to do it again and just get all a's again even though I passed it with a's or b's at a previous college ...i was told that the program goes togehter. To me I feel like it's more of a money thing than and education because Im paying for the same class I already paid for at another college. Can't wait to start though.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Salter College - West Boylston: No Work for You If You Want to Make It in This Program – I recieved financial aid but not as much as I hoped for to cover the rest of my tuition. I am applying for a ton of scholarships to hopefully help me cover the rest. I currently work a full time job to support me through college as I have done so in the past when I recieved my associates and then my bachelors degree. I just went to orientation this week and all the teachers were very honest in letting us future students clearly know that having a job while in program will not work out as clinicals will be weeks long at times I am a little upset that when applying for finacial aide I mentioned to the one helping me at Salter College that I hope I can apply for a "living expense" as this has been a dream of mine to finally be going for sugical technology. She mentioned that they don't do that at Salter College because we don't want students to get into more debt than they already are. I was shocked because if the teachers are all promoting the progam as a full time job and school combined and this is supposed to prepare us for "the real world" how can a student make it especially not working if this college doesn't allow living expenses?

Academic Experience at Salter College - West Boylston: Right Place at the Right Time – Salter College is just the right place for me at this time in my life. The classes are small the teachers are very helpful especially since I've been out of school for over 25 years. It is a small school and the class size seems to be just right as well. I give a grade of a B+ only because the Registrar picks your courses for you and which and when they will be taken. This is mostly the only drawback I have.

Campus Resources at Salter College - West Boylston: My Dilemmas of the Library – The Library is utilized much of the time by other classes which then minimizes the online support to others. I admit the library is small but I just think there should be another room for students to do research on the library's database.
