Salisbury definitely takes computer access for all students seriously. In the dorms, there is a "port per pillow" philosophy, meaning each roommate has his or her own Internet portal. For areas outside of individual rooms, every building, including the dorms, has wireless Internet access. For students who lack a computer—which are very, very few—there is an abundant amount of computer labs. Essentially, there is one in every building on campus. The new Teacher Education and Technology Center has half a dozen large labs, as well as study rooms with access. Also, Salisbury maintains discount plans with Dell and Apple that help students afford their own computers.

In addition to campus-wide Internet and computer access, the University allows students to print up to 30 pages per day for free. In most cases, students don't need that much, allowing many to save money on printer ink and paper. On the whole, the technology department on campus does an excellent job of maintaining computers, Internet access, and printers throughout campus, and students are able to find one of these things whenever they wish.
