3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I got a great academic scholarship from SMC, but I didn't qualify for need-based financial aid. When I told them that the scholarship wasn't enough to cover me for attending, they added in a couple grants to get me to make it through. I thought that was amazing!!!

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I got a lot of money in scholarships from the school.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: The school cannot give the amount of need-based aid the student need. The tuition fees keep going up every year but they could not increase the amount of merit-based scholarship.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I feel financial aid assistance at my school is pretty average from my experiences. But it did receive some scholarships for having good grades in high school and I received some extra scholarships my sophomore year of college because my freshman year I had an above average GPA.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Many scholarships are given to incoming freshmen, but its harder to get scholarships as a sophomore, junior, or senior!
