4 College Freshman

Academics: I have not started in my major yet, as I am still a freshman. Upperclassman that I have talked to say that a Statistics major is great. Some days you feel overloaded, but others not so much. Also many of the girls were able to take fun elective classes while deep in the major.

5 College Freshman

Academics: I love the options of classes that is offered here. A new program that Saint Mary's has implemented for this year's freshmen requires them to take a variety of classes in order to make them more well-rounded students.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Saint Mary's College is known for its excellent Nursing Program and science department. You have to have good grades to get in, and usually there are 90 applicants while only 50 are accepted. Sometimes they allow more though, if they have a really good group. You want to try to have the best grades you can, especially in science classes.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: I came from a pretty great Catholic high school, and actually found Saint Mary's to be a little easier. I'm sure in the upper-division classes it gets harder, but as for freshman classes, it was pretty easy.

4 College Junior

Academics: It's not as good as Notre Dame and don't expect it to be, but the professors are really fun and challenging enough. There aren't any teaching assistants which is really awesome and you can always reach them. The workload is manageable.
