5 College Junior

Academics: The professors for the Health Care Administration major are leaders in hospitals and health care organizations around Long Island, giving us students a fresh and current look at the health care systems in Long Island.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: We have students that range from late teens to adults in their 40's.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: on campus there is counselling and people to talk to about anything. There are support groups for almost anything and people here are judge-free.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Around campus there is some fast food restaurants, coffee shops, and frozen yogurt stores. Also some supermarkets, and if you go into town by main street there are some sit down restaurants and bars.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: Here at St. Joseph's College no one is pressured to do or take park in anything that students are not comfortable in.

4 College Junior

Diversity: Since my first few weeks at St. Joseph's College, everyone has been excepting of people of all races, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. No one has been rude or disrespectful to anyone. People help each other out and try the best to make each other's company worthwhile.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: The town that the school is located is Patchogue. There are places to eat and places to shop. There are things to do within five minutes away from the college and always people wanted to go and do something fun.

5 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Like mentioned before everyone is very friendly. At St Joseph's everyone is polite and cares about each other. The first day of classes was actually a snow day and when pulling into the parking lot (not knowing it was a snow day) people were running to everyone care saying how the school just closed. I didn't even know the people I was talking to and knowing people care to tell other what was going on was thoughtful.

4 College Junior

Academics: Every class has its points about Psychology. The professors are very helpful and the topics during class are always up for discussion. This is the best part because most people have different ideas and opinions and gets you too see different perspectives.

4 College Junior

Academics: There workload is not strenuous. each class that I am currently taking has the appropriate work such as papers and presentations. everything is due in an appropriate time and date.

College Junior

Campus Housing: St. Joseph's is a commuter school. There is no housing.

1 College Freshman

Parking: security guards hate their jobs parking sucks!!!1

1 College Freshman

Diversity: sucks! people are all creeps and the school it self looks discusting.

College Sophomore

Nightlife: The campus does not to seem to have a night life, according to me, who has not been at the campus for a night class.

College Sophomore

Transportation: Nothing really interesting for me to say here. I take a bus there most of the times, paying $4 per trip from the school and to home.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: There is nothing unusual about the Greek Life at this campus, just that there are many groups with three letters of the Greek alphabet that differ from each other.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The school has many different things that are in its buildings, which can make each area of the campus unique in appearance.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: There is a great variety of Majors to choose from at this college, and most of them require hard work and effort, which can reward you very well if you manage to complete them.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: St. Joseph's College has multiple building, each with there own interesting values and qualities. There's a library, an athletic center, a technology building, and last and most importantly, a main hall where most of the classrooms are.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: Many times, there will be cars all over the place, and there will not be much someone can do to park their car efficiently.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Course work is really interesting here, and it is very important for you to do as much of it as possible for the professors.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Some times, the students at this school can be strict to you, and can look to getting you into a downfall. But most times, they are really nice overall.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Sometimes the classes can be tough, but the quality of the classes overall are good.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: There's not much I can say here, but I believe all the people I saw were quite friendly to me on the campus.

5 College Senior

Academics: I am double majoring in Early Childhood Education and Speech Pathology. For Speech, a thesis is not required, but for Early Childhood there most certainly is. It is actually great to be an Early Childhood major. The school requires you to complete a certain number of hours of fieldwork before your student teaching. Each class can be complicated, but all of the teachers have been through everything and know exactly what has to be done. Most of them even teach or work with children while teaching us. The workload can be rough, but most certainly worth it in the end. I feel completely prepared to be in front of a classroom, and feel like I can own it because of my professors.
