3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: They can be very strict. Sometimes they ruin our fun and we are actually being safe.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: There have been a few incidents. Nothing that has ever been that serious. Campus police and security aren't the greatest, but they do what they can.

Nightlife: There really aren't many on campus parties. If you want to have a good time you must get off campus. There is ALWAYS a party or club to go to.

4 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: I love the city of Raleigh. People here are nice. Its a great place to be and hang out. Its always somewhere to eat and chill. They even have great caf├ęs when you want to get off campus and study.

Athletics: Saint Aug is very big on athletics. I will admit we have some very talented athletes. The only problem is our athletic facilities are not to par and even worse, the coaches are not qualified.

2 College Senior

Facilities: Gym is small. Unfinished stadium. Not many campus events. The yard is kept up for the most part, but needs some work. The library is nice.

Guys & Girls: Pick the right crowd to be around. Saint Aug is like a mini fashion show everyday. Its entertaining to see the lengths people go to be "different". We are very diverse in personalities and hobbies. We are a EXTREMELY athletic and talented school.

Campus Dining: I love my cafeteria ladies, but the food is horrible. I'm not a picky eater either. On Thursday and Friday. The cafeteria is where its at. Thursday is fried chicken and Friday is fried fish.

4 College Senior

Greek Life: I love the Greeks on campus. Its a small school so its easy to get to know them. They are cool people for the most part.

4 College Senior

Diversity: Saint Aug is an HBCU. So of course the majority of students are African American with the exception of a few other ethnicities. Even though we are African American, a lot of us come from different countries and cultural backgrounds.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: The Raleigh area is definitely good for its choice of food. I get so happy to come to school and know that if I don't want to eat in the cafeteria, I have plenty other options and I don't have to drive far.

Overall Experience: I will say that it is easy to have a relationship with your professors and your peers. Courses are not difficult at all. I you have to do is show up, do your work, and communicate with your professors. I will admit they do need to up their course selection. The curriculum needs to catch up with their counterparts.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Honestly, it is all about networking. We have a lot of involved alumni who want to see us grow. You have to reach out. It is not about what you know, but who you know some times. I haven't had any trouble. It could be better. The school doesn't have the best reputation, but that doesn't mean we can't make it better. Believe me when a Falcon is persistent and finally gets a job or internship we always do our thing!

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: If you do the math it is cheaper than on campus housing. Nice places to live as well.

3 College Senior

Majors: My specific program is Psychology. Being in this program is fair but it could use some improvement. They could use more people in this program. I also feel all courses for this program should be offered both semesters instead of only one semester.

3 College Senior

Majors: I have not had an internship but I would like to have one. The concerns I have about finding an internship is finding one that is outside of major. I also have not seen as many internships that are in my major.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: The off-campus dining options are pretty good. They are not that far from campus, we have a decent variety of foods to choose from and the prices are reasonable. The time in which they close are decent and on the weekends sometimes the hours are extended. There are not that many places that offer student discounts but they do offer coupons.

3 College Senior

Facilities: Student life on campus is not the best but it's not the worst either. The computer labs and libraries are good study/work areas but sometimes there may not always be a computer available when you need it. We only have one student hangout area and it could use some improvement. We do have fun campus events but these events could also be improved.

3 College Senior

Athletics: The student involvement pertaining to sports is pretty high there are a lot of students who are thoroughly involved. The performance of the teams overall is pretty good but there is always room for improvement. The athletic teams get a lot of support from fans on an off campus. The school spirit is pretty good especially during homecoming and other big athletic events.

Local Atmosphere: There are many different food places, museums, festivals, parks, etc. in the area that you can explore.

3 College Junior

Weather: Make sure you check the news or weather on your phone. It changes up frequently.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: We have some days where the food is actually good and we have other days where you question what exactly are they feeding us, but at the end of the day it depends on the person and what you make out of it.

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I just love the greek life! They are always doing something and supporting. It really makes other want to join.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: They are always on standby and alert.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I was not eligable to recieve or apply for any of the scholarships but the financial aid advisors we very helpful. Since I was involved in a activity I was eventually ablel to find the money. But the best advice is to always ask for help and never give up on finding the money.
