3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Newark Museum of Art is right around the corner. It is not advisable to be out and about at night. There are many small clothing and shoe stores around the campus and for sports and entertainment the Prudential Center is a few minutes away.

Local Atmosphere: It's alright, but would not move here.

Local Atmosphere: Newark isn't the safest city, that is a well known fact. If it got cleaned up it has the potential to be a great location, it's close to the city, there are plenty of professional sports teams around, but at the moment its not very safe to walk around at night so that's a limiting factor.

Local Atmosphere: Again, Newark isn't the best city. The city is rundown, but at the same time, it feels like it has a lot of potential. The proximity to NYC is nice. However, the city has a very drab and dreary feel to it.

Local Atmosphere: Around our campus are a lot more other campuses and that allows students to meet other students from different schools. For example, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Essex County College and UMDNJ (University Medical and Dentistry of New Jersey) in Newark. I love the people around our campus and there are a lot of food places around and in the campuses that we can eat at.
