3 College Junior

Campus Housing: My school was a last minute decision. The dorms are very old inside and out its ok to live there , but I wouldn't recommend this university to anyone else.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Depending on the dorm you stay in the rooms are not that bad. You have to remember that this is a conservative Methodist college and they are single sex dorms so this isn't the school for you if your looking for co-ed

2 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Try to Make a 3.0 or Better – I can only speak on the girls' dorms at Rust because there are no co-ed living facilities on Rust's campus. The freshman building, E.L. Rust Hall, is not the ideal place to live. It's small, noisy, and the bathrooms are almost always a mess. The upperclassmen have a choice between two buildings, Emma Elzy Hall and Wiff Hall. Wiff Hall is the female honors dorm, and it is required to have a 3.0 or better to stay there. Freshman year, you will have one roommate, but the next year, if you live Emma Elzy, you will have 3 roommates. Wiff only has one roommate.

Campus Housing: Student Life – Living on campus can be nice. If you are an honor student you recieve better privliges. You only have two to a room versus four. The cost is a little over $1,600 per semester.

At Rust College, living on campus can be nice. But if you are an honor student, you receive better privileges. To be an honor student, you must have a 3.5 GPA or better. Honor students only have two to a room versus four. When it comes to the residence halls, there are three female halls, two male, and one small apartment complex for single parents. The overall capacity of on-campus living is around 850 students.

To live on campus, the cost is a little more than $1,600 per semester. The incoming freshman students have their own dormitories and are separated from the upperclassmen. This allows freshmen to stay focused and meet students around their age group.
