3 College Student

Weather: It's not terrible. A lot of people like to say it rains a lot but I'd say it rains an average amount. Most people who live in state should know what to expect.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Its okay weather. A decent variety but more on the cooler side than anything else.

4 College Senior

Weather: Its the weather. What more do you want. Carry an umbrella when the forecast is for rain.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Since Rowan has a large commuter population, Rowan administration is more likely to cancel classes than many other campuses. This semester, there has been a lot of snow and inclement weather, and classes were cancelled many times.

2 College Freshman

Weather: The campus itself is like a wind tunnel. The area itself has a lot of rainfall and the past winter has been abundant with snow, ,eaning cancelled classes and slippery, ice-covered walkways

The weather at Rowan isn’t that bad, but when it is cold, it is really cold, and when it is hot, boy is it hot. However, the seasons are generally normal and neutral. In November, you can expect it to be cold, and in July, you can expect it to be hot. There might be the occasional snow before Thanksgiving, but Glassboro is almost always guaranteed to get snow for Christmas.

And, just like each season on the runways of Milan, New York, and Paris, the change seasons in Glassboro also brings a change in wardrobe. Packing the right clothing is most important when coming to Rowan. A prospective student should know that, for the most part, weather at Rowan is typical of temperate New Jersey weather. You'll get a feel for every season, and then some. It's rarely too extreme, and the snow has to be pretty severe for classes to be delayed or canceled.
