4 College Sophomore

Facilities: You can always find your niche here. No matter what you're looking for you'll find a place with people to do it with you.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: It's more laid back and not too intense. Everybody is happy.

4 College Junior

Facilities: I love this school. All campus buildings are relatively close together and easy to get to. I have not experienced more than a 15 minute walk, taking my time, going from one class to another. Also, this school just developed a great nursing and engineering program, which makes the school more prestigious and known.

Public facilities and buildings are always kept very clean. Messes are cleaned up instantly by staff, and staff is all very friendly in my experience.

I also like the volunteering program at the school. They provide transportation, and the program I am most passionate about is the animal shelter. I loved it so much I became an official volunteer! I would have never thought of doing it if it weren't for the program at Rowan.

5 College Junior

Facilities: The social scene is amazing. There are parties almost any day of the week, but Thursdays and Saturdays are always the best. It's a great way to unwind from the stresses of class, exams, and the week in general, and also to meet new people. It is genuinely a good time.

The library is a great place to meet up with people to study or to do a group project. I also like doing my work alone there, as I feel like with the quietness and the nature of the library I tend to get more done in less time.

I usually work when major campus events are going on, but the RAH program events I've went to have all been clean, safe fun in my experience too!

Everything closes very early in Glassboro, and the same trend occurs on the Rowan University campus. Basically, if it is not the first or last two weeks of the semester, you are out of luck. During finals week, the library stays open until 2 a.m., but any other time during the semester, it closes at midnight every night, which can be a pain for students in a time crunch. Profs Place in the Student Center is open until 1 a.m., which means it can get very crowded once everything else on campus closes.

However, if you have no need for anything late at night, Rowan’s facilities are as good as they come. The athletic center is a great resource, and the other buildings on campus— excluding residence halls—are well-kept, too. Rowan does a good job of upkeep and maintenance on the academic buildings, which makes it easy to learn because it’s a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment. That being said, very few buildings on campus are known for being fair as far as their temperatures. Either they are really hot or really cold, but never in between. So dressing accordingly is always advised, which means layers, layers, layers—when it is cold in the classroom, you can pack it on, and when it is hot, you can take it off.

Rowan After Hours offers free entertainment on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The midnight buffets are especially delectable.
