Everything closes very early in Glassboro, and the same trend occurs on the Rowan University campus. Basically, if it is not the first or last two weeks of the semester, you are out of luck. During finals week, the library stays open until 2 a.m., but any other time during the semester, it closes at midnight every night, which can be a pain for students in a time crunch. Profs Place in the Student Center is open until 1 a.m., which means it can get very crowded once everything else on campus closes.
However, if you have no need for anything late at night, Rowan’s facilities are as good as they come. The athletic center is a great resource, and the other buildings on campus— excluding residence halls—are well-kept, too. Rowan does a good job of upkeep and maintenance on the academic buildings, which makes it easy to learn because it’s a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment. That being said, very few buildings on campus are known for being fair as far as their temperatures. Either they are really hot or really cold, but never in between. So dressing accordingly is always advised, which means layers, layers, layers—when it is cold in the classroom, you can pack it on, and when it is hot, you can take it off.
