Off-Campus Housing: I don't stay in off-campus housing and know very little of it. What I've seen of it seems nice.

Off-Campus Housing: costly near campus, but conveniently located

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Freshman are not permitted to live off-campus until they are 21. Even though I am 21, I chose to live on-campus for the first year, because I don't know the are yet.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Basically depends on what you can afford. If you can live in the loop/ South Loop, you'll have a traditional apt, and great location but at $900 for a studio or ~1600 for a one bedroom. There are some "off campus housing" in the loop, its basically the UC but a different company owning them. There is a lot more student friendly apts near uic and loyola.
