Overall Experience: This school is here for education purposes only, not the school you should come to have fun. Come here if you like the cold and you like to explore the city...the location is practically what you are paying for so take advantage of it!

3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Most annoying thing is that they will ban anyone from the building without even giving you a reason...people move out because their other half gets banned for I guess being there "too much". Like wtf you pay so much money to live in this building so shouldn't you be allowed to have the visitors you want? So dumb.

2 College Senior

Health & Safety: No one talks about it.

3 College Senior

Athletics: Roosevelt's Basketball games are the only sports talk you hear about, no one ever mentions anything else. The athletes hang out with athletes and that's pretty much it.

Local Atmosphere: You live in Chicago, so get ready to live in Chicago.

College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: You are in the south loop which isn't nearly as exciting as the North Loop but if you are willing to travel (which you can with your U-Pass) I recommend you do. Explore the city as much as you can before it gets too cold...by that time you will just have to suffer with cafeteria food. I do recommended tasting the delicious Cuban food at Cafecito across the street from the Gym!

Scholarships: The staff are so rude and not very helpful. They are not so much looking out for you as they are looking for ways to screw you over. Please keep a close eye on your scholarships, they seem to disappear mid-year!

Campus Housing: The view from the dorms is fantastic! And you are literally a 5 minute walk from your room to the Auditorium building (where many courses are held), the biggest issue is waiting for the elevator and then having to travel over 20 floors (while it keeps stopping to pick up more people) to get to the actual cafeteria, gym, auditorium building and finally: The First Floor!!! (Oh and you will hate the cafeteria food and the fact that there are no kitchens for you to cook in!)

5 College Senior

Majors: Just pick what major you want (and can afford) and you are basically in!

3 College Senior

Majors: Pretty experienced professors, Roosevelt does a great job on hiring them but some are a little too busy with their professions (besides teaching) that you can tell they are stressed.

Nightlife: Only parties you hear of are from CCPA (who wont invite you if you aren't in CCPA) and JAMS parties but they get pretty raunchy. Live off campus if you are trying to party and be nice to Columbia, Loyola and other college kids, they have more parties than Roosevelt.

Health & Safety: As far as I know, the programs and understand and prevention of sexual assaults on campus are incredible and helps those who have gone through the traumatic experience.

Local Atmosphere: Downtown Chicago is very awesome and pretty good.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The overall experience was pretty good and it feels amazing.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: Based on the tours I have taken, the campus facilities are very well-kept and are up to very high standards.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have no idea in this area.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: The person I worked with on this was of great help and still helps me now. Very polite.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: From the other students I know of that were accepted and are going, I know that they are a pretty diverse group of people.

College Freshman

Campus Housing: Even if I did start classes, I would not be living on-campus.

College Freshman

Greek Life: I have not yet started attending.

College Freshman

Academics: I am choosing to go to Roosevelt but have not yet started my first year there. So I am using my own knowledge to best answers these questions.

College Freshman

Academics: Again, have not yet started.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: A LOT of the guys are gay. people here are not "rich", but they definitely use their parents' money to pay for anything. if you are not liberal, you are in the wrong place. most people are christian but don't really advertise it.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: there are no curfews or restrictions about if guys can be in girls' rooms or anything. you can have overnight visitors for up to three days.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: the dorms are the biggest I have seen and that's usually what gets people to come here. the view is really great since you overlook lake michigan. it's stupid expensive though. most people stay in their rooms since there's no place to hang out.
