Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of students who can live off campus within walking distance of school. But those houses or apartments are very expensive and not all can afford to live off campus.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I do not have much information about this.

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing is a beautiful thing as it provides us students with a variety of housing options. However, the true deal and success of Rollins life is the fact that so many small houses are available to rent for good prices directly off campus well within walking distance.

Off-Campus Housing: It all depends on who you know and how well you plan moving off campus. If your lucky you will find one of the awesome lakeside/partyhouse mansions that big groups rent. Takes some looking around but is well worth it.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Some of my fellow classmates do live comfortable, but far away. too much gas money. and if they live close, it's not comfortable

Most juniors and seniors live off campus at Rollins. Since students are required to live in a dorm freshman and sophomore years, for many students, it is refreshing to get off campus. There are plenty of options when it comes to off-campus housing, with tons of houses and apartments close to campus that students can rent. However, the closer the house\apartment is to school, the more expensive it typically gets. Apartments close to campus can run upwards of $1,000 a month. These are the apartments that most students want because they can walk to school and not have to deal with the stress of finding a parking spot.

Usually two or three people live together in an apartment and even more if you have a house. Some owners refuse to rent to Rollins students, which sometimes makes house hunting difficult. Some students who are willing to travel 10 to 15 minutes in the morning rent farther away from campus to avoid high expenses. There is an abundance of nice living options around Rollins, and the neighborhood of Winter Park is clean and friendly.
