College Freshman

Nightlife: I live off campus and do not drive as a result I am not able or rather choose not to go out on the weekends or during the week due to other obligations (mainly overbearing and prudish rents)

4 College Student

Nightlife: There are so many options.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: I like and enjoy it.

5 College Sophomore

Nightlife: The variety of parties is quite low, however when parties do occur they are done usually once every week or every two weeks and are done right with a great time for everyone.

3 College Senior

Nightlife: School is in a pricey area so naturally all the social scenes in the surrounding area are costly too.

Students at Rollins go out at night quite frequently. Whether people are going to a house party or to a club in downtown Orlando, one can almost always count on something going on. Rollins students serve as promoters for clubs and bars around Winter Park and in Orlando, and these student promoters are constantly reminding everyone where the parties are via Facebook event invites. At the beginning of each week, there are usually a few different Facebook events that Rollins students receive. The nice thing about the clubs and bars in and around Orlando is that most of them let 18-year-olds in. One bad thing about Winter Park is the strict police. House parties are often broken up by the police. Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights are the most popular nights for Rollins students to go out.

Most of the clubs in Orlando are dressy and expensive. Rollins students often buy tables at the clubs, and girls can drink for free quite easily. Vodka is definitely the drink of choice of students at Rollins, and if you don't like hard alcohol, then come prepared to buy your own drinks at the bar. The club scene revolves around a lot of loud music, alcohol, and dirty dancing.

A Rollins favorite, Antigua is an upscale club in the heart of trendy downtown Orlando. Spatz Deli & Billiard Liquor

Located down the road from campus, Spatz is the bar most often rented out by frats and sororities for party nights. This relatively small bar and pool hall gets extremely crowded on Rollins nights. Dress is very casual; however, most of the Greek life-sponsored nights have themes.

Drake's has quickly become the popular Thursday night hangout for Rollins students. There is a full bar with a dance floor and DJ, a separate room for beer pong, and the cover charge is cheap. The security is strict and will throw people out who are drinking without a 21-and-up wristband, but they also let you pay cover again to get back in.

Fiddler's Green

Fiddler's is a blast, and it is within walking distance from campus. A typical Irish bar with live music and plenty of beer, Fiddler's is small and often hard to walk around, but it is always a good time. The bouncers are strict on IDs, though, and it is usually hard to get in if you are not 21.
