Overall Experience: I have had good experiences so far.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The classes I have taken online were straight forward and easy to complete. Very easy course and plan to take more online courses next semester.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Library is decent, never needed much from it, the online journals you can access are helpful. There is plenty of room to study throughout the campus. The building is starting to deteriorate from water damage, not very pleasing to the eyes.

Campus Resources: The Wifi and the printers don't always work. Wifi can be weak and the printers are limited depending on which computer's you use, limited searching and sometimes limited printing. Printer's out of order regularly.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I wish it had told me everything I needed to send in at once instead of needing one sheet at a time, once the financial aid went through there were no more issues.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: It's a very convenient school, I can have a job while going to school and the cost is manageable. Not too much course work to deal with. The only hassle I have had is with individual instructors, the management of the school is great. The credits transfer to most colleges within Minnesota, I don't know about other states.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Just like high school but it is cheaper than most schools. Get what you paid for type of school. If I had gotten scholarships last year I might have gone somewhere else.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The science and medical programs are big because Rochester is the home town of the Mayo Clinic and many RCTC alumni are hired there. Not many people are there to socialize, most of my friends there I knew previously. It's a run down building with water residue marks on the ceilings everywhere, and some of the bathrooms have been out of order for most of this semester and last semester. Hardly a campus life, considered a "stepping stone" school.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: The student body is pretty diverse in age, race, and economic standings. I have had classes with high school students and fifty year old's, and there are many minorities and people with rich and poor backgrounds.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I will not be graduating from this school, only transferring credits to a different school.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The Liberal Arts program seems like a repeat of high school and I wish it would be more challenging. The work load is fair the program gives you the information you need. The job opportunities are there if you choose to use them. Overall it is a very mellow and average community college and helps if you are not prepared to go to an actually university.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors are sometimes very knowledgeable on their subjects however a few can barely answer questions that don't relate to what we are specifically talking about. Curriculum is easy, pretty laid back and a lot like high school. Class registration is easy and they offer free tutoring services in the learning center.

Campus Resources: I feel my school is pretty average. The only thing I think that sets it apart is the "bubble" over the football field.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: I feel the online classes give way more "busy" work than in the classroom. The discussion boards are ridiculous.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The facilities are not bad, they just need better upkeep.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are many resources available at school, most of them in the technology center or library. For the most part everyone is willing to help if you just ask for it.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid at this school is a joke. Unless you are any race besides white, you can get it. Everyone at school knows it, so much that the colored kids brag about it. It's unfair, everyone of every skin tone struggles.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Professors are great, I just wish that some of them would use the technology. RCTC says that e-mail is the main means of communication, but I had a couple english teachers now that do not use e-mail at all. I think it is because of their age and they were probably there before we even had internet, but it is not fair that we cannot check our grades or anything like the rest of our classes.

Student Body: There are too many cliques at this school, and not very many inviting people. The teaching staff is great, I love the teachers and they are all very knowledgeable in what they're teaching. The students is what bothers me. There are MANY colored students that benefit from financial aid and brag to everyone else about how they get it because of their skin color, and wont let anyone forget it and think they're so much more important than the rest of the class. It really is a shame that the staff and building is so great, and not the student body.

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because it was close to my job and my family. Going to RCTC, I am able to work and stay with my family to help lower expenses. This school is great when it comes to flexibility. The classes are always offered to fit the students needs. THe teachers are great and love helping the students too. The subject matter of my classes are rather difficult but with the tutoring they have I am able to stay on top of it. I want to transfer to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and with RCTC I am able to do that while keeping all of my credits.

Academic Flexibility: personally i have had good luck. all of my instructors have been super flexible, very attentive to different needs that different students present to them. in terms of curriculum i think it depends on who have as an instructor, it can go both ways with this one. I have had other students complain about their instructors, time management, unfair testing, crazy deadlines, ludicrous statements in and out of class...

4 College Senior

Career Services: They do a very good job of offering internships to students in multiple of the programs to ensure they have had the experience and the opportunity to network with possible employers. They also have special packages offered for their alumni, in terms of family and the use of utilities in or around the school. alumni do have an edge over every other applicant who vies for a job position with the school.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Just recently all the computer labs were update. There are many areas in the college where you can go and get work done quietly

Campus Resources: The most unique thing I can think of are the photography classes, it was extremely fun and I recommend it to anyone looking into photography.
