4 College Sophomore

Parking: There are not always enough parking spots available. The permits are fairly cheap but I do not think they actually go around and check to see if every car has the tag in the window. Other than that the parking lot it in very nice condition.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: There are no permit fees. We do have to register our cars. Most students commute and some students have cars. I have a car and it is very handy. No trouble finding a parking spot.

2 College Freshman

Parking: Not Close Enough – The most important buildings for class are in one main cluster. There are very few where we have to travel down to the lower part of the campus. That aside, I think that the parking spots are a lot farther away from the building the necessary. They have a lot of handicapped spots and employee parking spaces that never get filled.

3 College Senior

Parking: If you are an on-campus student, there is a sizable parking lot on campus. For visitors and commuter students, the parking lot is much smaller. Both residential and commuter students will need a permit-- it is "free" but possibly there may be a hidden cost in tuition. Problems in parking are addressed by Oakland County's sheriff's office. Reportedly, violations in parking will result in tickets and tows. Getting around in the broader community is so-so without a car. You basically need a car or friends with a car.

4 College Senior

Parking: Parking is close to the front door of my campus since I attend the CEL center. The main campus parking also seems to be convenient.

There are two parking lots on campus: East and West. These lots are not particularly vast compared to other major college campuses. Students who park on campus will need a special parking pass. Anyone who parks on campus will probably have to do some walking to most of the facilities.
