3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Most of the nightlife is all bars in downtown Rochester so if you are not 21 then you can not go.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: During the week most students are studying. I usually work on the weekends at home, so I am not on campus but only a couple of weekends a year. There is plenty of things to do off campus. Usually parties at students off campus locations.

1 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There really isn't much nightlife on the campus. There will be an occasional lecture or some interesting event like Mr. RC. For the most part people tend to go home on the weekends and people don't really host parties. Rochester College is a good school, but it functions more like a community college.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: Student Life – Student life dept. Sets up many events for students who live on campus.

5 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Night Life – There is no (or very little) clubbing or partying because we are a Christian college, but we do have movie nights and other fun activities.

Rochester Hills is a northern suburb of Detroit. There are a number of attractions nearby in the metropolitan Detroit area, including a myriad of local restaurants, nightclubs, and pubs. Potential Rochester students should be reminded, however, that Rochester College has a strict prohibition on alcohol. Students are not allowed to bring it on campus, and they are expected to respect state law concerning the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Sanctions exist for students who are caught with alcohol or discovered to be intoxicated.

Rochester students should be mindful of these rules whenever they enter an establishment that sells alcohol. For undergraduates living on campus, there is a definite curfew, and other students who live off campus are expected to respect "lights-out" time on campus. Restrictions are looser for married students and upperclassmen, but they are still expected to respect the campus environment.
