College Senior

Greek Life: Greek Organizations are on Campus – There are a few Greek-based organizations on campus. However, the Christian context of Rochester College restricts the social norms that may be associated with contemporary Greek life at most (secular) institutions. There typically is an outright Christian ministry context incorporated into the Greek organizations available for undergraduates.

There are National Honor Societies that also have a relationship wtih the college. These organizations are invitation only, and typically only graduating seniors are chosen, with a high grade point average.

There are no traditional Greek organizations exist on Rochester College's campus. The college's relatively small on-campus student body may account for part of this. Also, Rochester College has a strict prohibition against any form of hazing, harassment, and drinking/substance abuse. As such issues unofficially are associated with contemporary student Greek groups, this may account for the lack of a Greek presence at Rochester College.
