4 College Junior

Facilities: The school is currently under construction to improve the look of the inside of the school.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I have not heard much about it, however i do know that previous students of the MA program all have stayed friends out side of school

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: It's a small school, but has a student counsel that do their best to make the campus environment more inviting.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: i have never had a problem with any of the printers of computers.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I have enjoyed most all of my online courses.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My huge frustration is not being able to contact most staff members by phone.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have formed a good relationship in the classroom with my fellow MA students. I feel comftorable asking any of my classmates for help if I'm having a hard time understanding.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: My registration process was a headache! I had to meet with so many different people and set up times to meet with them, I feel the school should help coordinating the whole registration process . I don't like how most all of the staff will only communicate through email, sometimes I would prefer to pick up the phone and actually talk to someone.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I receive financial aid. The school makes it easy to review your tuition and financial aid online.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Everyone is always nice to everyone else. Most student interaction is in the classroom or in the library.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I like that my school is small. The business office and administration could use some work on communication.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: I suppose there resources are sufficient as a community college goes.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I wish my classes for criminal justice major were more on campus than online because I miss the people physically, this term is a bit more difficult due to all my classes are on line and there is no need to see classmates, professors, etc.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Just as soon as I entered college, I received financial aid and it is enough to cover my education cost which has greatly relieved me of pressure financially and that is a wonderful feeling thanks to financial aid.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I am a criminal justice major and have recently became an officer while still attending college, what the books say are not always whats in the real world.
But I want to have the book knowledge plus the physical knowledge so I will continue with the books to gain the new revised knowledge that is needed within my major.

4 College Senior

Career Services: I never give a perfect score but near due to you always have room for improvement but my school and especially my professor has helped me succeed in getting that job I have dreamed for so long and my school has already credited me for my internship early within the first year.
I am happy and proud to have succeeded hear at river valley and will miss every one I have met when time comes to move on.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There is always some one to talk with and share your troubles if needed and the support of the administration and guidance is very helpful if you have questions that need answered.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Though seemed pretty easy, and don't have to drive to school I still prefer the traditional hands on. And constantly checking due dates that change possibly failing a course because of the clicking off a page or going back to check, and the computer sends when not done is very aggravating.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I only took two classes this past fall, but the staff was very friendly and hepful and one of my teachers was awesome and the other needed to retire(simply said. ) he would give us quizzes that we could look up the answers to online, didnt really earn a whole lot in that class eiher. It was mostly powerpoints and seemingly pointless experiments. Nothing amazing or exciting to spark one's interest in science.
My sociology class was very good, on the other hand. The teacher was funny and interactive and made us learn and study the material.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The school has resources to fit every need of a student. There is a great learning center to fit a learning curve or with basic help. They have free tutoring services for every subject as well as help with any questions about classes or transferring to another school.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: The student body consists of a variety of people. Mostly students with children working for a higher education and older folks either furthering their education or looking for a new job. The school is very good with violence and harassment intolerance.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: All my credits were able to transfer and there are many night and day classes available to orient classes around work and other obligations. There were not a too wide of choices for classes available and no sport teams.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I attend the academic center in Keene NH. It isn't a full campus so it doesn't offer a full range of opportunities for students, but it is my understanding that the Claremont campus has a much wider range of resources.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: They accepted my credits from other schools readily. My homework and classwork assignments have all been manageable even under the duress of keeping a fulltime job and new addition to the family. And for my limited means they have managed to make things affordable to me.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education costs are a bit high for a community college and the price of some texts books is way too much. Financial aid officers have been kind and helpful, but it still feels like I am paying a lot more than needed...
