3 College Freshman

Computers: Ringling College of Art & Design does an excellent job of keeping up with students' technological needs.

Computers: Ringling college of art and design is known to be the college that sets the standard when it comes to the amount of technology utilized, and that is very much true. And each student is provided a laptop. The only problem I have in regards to that is that there should be fine print or emphasis that BRAND NEW laptops are only given to freshman. As a transfer student who came in as a sophomore, I got a USED laptop that was cleaned out, formerly used by a freshman who didn't make it past their first year. I didn't find out about this until the very moment I went to pick up my laptop. Getting that "sparkling brand new" laptop as they had advertised turned out to be a bit disappointing.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: They give you a free MacBook Pro stocked with amazing and expensive design programs during orientation week. Yeah you could say they're pretty good.

4 College Freshman

Computers: The computers at Ringling are awesome. High speed processing with all the programs needed for each student. Often you find yourself in a crowded lab but at other times you are able to just use the laptop given to at the start of your year.

Computers: When you arrive as a freshman Ringling gives you a brand new Mac notebook, loaded with all of the software you will need. As updates become available, they pass it along for your system. There are labs, printers for small and large format, machines that will cut plastic, metal and other materials. There are students that will help you if you need system work as well as a school wide back-up system that will save your projects and all other work incase there is a major crash. Ringling is listed as one of the most 'wired' colleges in the country. It's amazing, and I am not even barely scratching the surface when you start applying all of the school's majors, to the software and programs they provide. A++
