Student Body: The student body at Richland is about one of the most diverse student bodies I have ever seen. There is a plethora of different ethnics, religions, etc yet we are all accepted and treated with equally. We are all just students trying to get an education it does not matter how old or young or where the person comes from.

Academic Flexibility: Since I am in the high school program the councilor makes my schedule but from what I have seen and heard the proccess is simple. You go to the dcccd website look up your courses, the time that is best for you and enroll all at the comfort of your home.

Campus Resources: I could spend hours in the library and never get bored due to their vast variety of books. The student center has helped me so much through out the semester I have to thank them for helping me pass one of my courses. There are so many fun activities through out the year at campus like the Cinco de mayo festival and the dance marathon on top of the campus gym ready to use for all students.

Career Services: The job fair held on campus is a perfect way to find a career related to your major in an instant.

Overall Experience: The classes never have more than 30 students at the maximum. If you study and study right no matter the difficulty of the professor it is possible to pass the course. There are so many interesting classes offered I wish I had more time to take them all. What I have learned this past year is that every professor has their own way of teaching but in general the second you receive that first test grade, if it is not at least a B you have to go to tutoring to pass the rest of the semester.

Overall Experience: All I can say is that the career/ services on campus have helped me figure out my major on top of choosing the correct courses I should take for that major.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The councilors are always there to help. From what I have experienced and what others have told me, there was no hassle in getting the financial aid needed.

Online Courses: Personally, I prefer face to face teaching because it is easier for me to stay focused while with online courses I tend to procrastinate more. An online class tends to also have more work due to it`s short course time and professor/student relationships are not that great because the professor may be slow in returning emails. Other than that if you know how to work the online course website then getting the work done and interacting with peers is not difficult.

Academic Experience: Since i`m in the high school program at Richland college we tend to have more work than the regular college students. Even though our work load is above normal the faculty always make sure to give us the best in order for us to thrive. For example, every week there are at least two different colleges stationed at the cafeteria for students to go and learn more. On top of that, once a semester the campus holds a career, college, service learning fair so the students can get connected and get the opportunities they need to succeed.

Academic Experience: Even though Richland college only offers two years worth of credits the variety of courses is astonishing. The courses range from the basics to nanotechnology to a music degree. The learning center at the school is a perfect place to go if any student ever needs help and there are seats all over the place for students to sleep, eat, and study 24/7. The councilors do all the class regestration for the high school students so we do not have to worry about it but if there is a complication the councilors are quick to let the student know so it can be resolved as quickly as possible.

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been okay. Yes I have dealt with some rude, and really disrespectful people, but I now have met really helpful and encouraging people. I can say that with the people I know now they are really making school an easier process, and allowing me to look forward to my future.

Online Courses: The online part of college has really made an improvement. From class selection, to submitting homework, and taking online courses. So I do feel that they are making a great improvement with their online.

Academic Flexibility: It was not until my 2 year in college that an advisor told me, that I need a plan of study and showed me had to choose one. Again I feel this is because of the lack of time that they initially invest on new upcoming students.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I believe class sizes are reasonable. Some of the professors there are really helping and what their students to success; but then there are some who simply teach but you can tell that they don't want to be there. Some professors have a hard time explain properly over material being taught. Also some are from other nations so when they have strong accents its really complicated to follow along.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have never taken the opportunity to use these sources, but I feel that its well advertised and that student who really do need it, take advantage of it.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I feel very lost when it comes to student centers, or campus activities. Since mostly students are the ones who run these programs they vaguely respond to you. Or simply your ignored until a professor is able to help.

2 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: As far as the tuition, I really don't find it difficult or over priced. I believe my education is worth the money I am paying. What I really believe would be helpful, is way of promoting or facilitating financial aid for students. Up to this day I have not applied for financial aid and this is because I tried but it has just been difficult with the people who work there.

College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I really cannot give a rating, because I attend community college so there are really a limited access or courses I can take there. I feel once I transfer I will have a better opinion.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I think at my school there are people or professor who are there to help me. Sometimes I feel during the registration process that the most difficult part is getting through an advisor, and the students who work there make this difficult.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I feel that advisors, should sometimes be a little more patient with students. Everyone is in a fast pace that really doesn't allow much time to think and analyze properly.

4 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: We were able to work in teams as great as a team work would be done.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: I had a big problem looking for my class schedule because alost all the classes were separated from each other; at the same time it was okay that way I had time to do some homework in between.

3 Recent Alumnus

Tuition & Financial Aid: A lot of information I had to look for, but I guess that is okay that way the government would save money.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It wasn't the worst, but it sure was far off from the best.

2 College Sophomore

Career Services: Not very helpful in the process of transferring and not very knowledgeable of which certain courses have been updated or have been taken off of the transfer list to certain universities/colleges.
