Campus Resources: Richland College has a fantastic library with many materials to choose from. Not only do they have an extensive print collection, they also have a vast digital collection.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: I am currently in the middle of my first online course for this college, and I am liking the format so far. I find it very nice to not have the constraints of having to go to a class and sit there if it feels like a waste of time.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: There is a very broad range of courses to choose from. Some classes have more professors to choose from than others, and it always seems like the less professors that a class has to choose from, the worse those professors are.

College Senior

Overall Experience: I have not been in contact or inquired of any of these services, and can therefore not comment.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I have found the curriculum at Richland to be very engaging, yet in other classes some of the curriculum choices were very dull.

4 College Senior

Career Services: There are multiple offices and programs to help you transition into the working life after college.

3 College Senior

Student Body: Being a community college, the student body is very diverse. I enjoy getting to be in classes with people who are more advanced in life than I am, as it is interesting to see life from their perspective. The Richland student body is very ethnically diverse, as it is in a very diverse part of town. You have students from multiple countries, religions, belief groups, etc.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office is hard to deal with. When you call the office, they don't actually connect you to or give you the option to connect with a live person. It is all electronic. This made it very difficult if you have questions about financial aid, but not enough time to go in person to ask them.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I feel as if the professors are the best ones in the DCCCD. I feel like they are academically driven, and always strive for their students to do their best.

College Senior

Academic Experience: I am currently undecided. I don't know what I want to do, so I am just going for the basics.

Tuition & Financial Aid: First of all,am receiving the value of education worths my tuition.Again, my experience with the financial aid office was a hectic one at the beginning. The reason was that, it was my first time applying and it was perfect afterwards. Some of the tips getting financial aid in my school are: everyone student can apply, provide the necessary information like your high School diploma or GED for evaluation and your tax reforms.
