3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Being in a larger city there's lots to do, and public transportation is available.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Not familiar with schools involvment

3 College Freshman

3 College Sophomore

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: All of the building are really old except new hall. I live in Weber. The floor in the bathroom is coming up and the cleaning guy does not clean the bathroom once a week like he should. There is mold everywhere. I complained about my bed being broken 8 months ago and I am still waiting for it to get fixed.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: A good amount of students use marijuana. Not a lot of the RA's say anything.

3 College Junior

Majors: I do not have an internship at this time but will have one next year. Most of the students that are placed in the internship program that I will be in end up getting paid a good amount and have the job when the internship is over.

4 College Junior

Majors: I love the program I am in. If I could do it over again I would go directly to the head of the department or someone close to them. I would skip the middle men that the school had me talk to because they had me waist a year here and a boat load of money that I did not need to. I am not too concerned with finding a job in my field because most students leave their internship with the job they were in.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: We are in a huge city so there are tons of stores surrounding us. There are buses that will take you anywhere you want to go.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: The campus police drive around campus all night long making sure the campus is safe. One officer is stationed in the resident lot through out the night.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I don't really know how off campus housing is. I have not had to experience it. I do know there is a link on the RIC website.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: RIC campus does not have parties. If you want to go to a party you have to meet people for another school and go to one of theirs and then come back to your room.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: The RA's do not walk through the dorms as the should as the year goes on. Also they do not keep the residents quit after quiet hours. It gets annoying when I am trying to get sleep on Thursday nights and the other people in my dorm are up until 3am.

3 College Junior

Academics: I love most of the teachers I have had. However some of the teachers they hire form other schools are not the best. I would prefer if the teachers of classes did not get changed at the last minute.

3 College Junior

Athletics: For the people who play sports and their families they are a huge deal. I work in the athletics department and it is the nicest building on campus. However, if you do not have a class in the building or play sports you do not go in the building.

4 College Junior

Computers: The computers have up to date software. If the computer stops working for some reason a person fixes it right away.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I am entirely unfamiliar with the dorm buildings on campus

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I dont usually eat at places around campus. I have been to a good Italian deli for a pretty good sandwich though.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have never witnessed a crime on campus. Safety services appear efficient and the waiting area is usually empty.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Campus is small, but the walks between buildings can get very cold due to wind.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: It's not needed, but laptops are very convenient. there are lots of computers. iPads laptops cameras...can all be borrowed but if you break it you buy it!

2 College Sophomore

Diversity: Most students are from Rhode Island or close to it. If your from out of state, you'll have plenty of people to laugh at because apparently our accents are funny and yes, a lot of people know a lot of people in little rhode.
