4 College Junior

Facilities: The registration process was guided every step of the way. Regis faculty and staff are helpful and friendly. When I call the main campus, the front desk person has been able to accurately answer every question I've had. I have NEVER been subjected to voice activated menu systems, which is great. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Faculty are accessible and available by phone and email. Students are treated as if they matter.

College Junior

Facilities: I have not attended campus. I am an online student.

College Senior

Facilities: Haven't completed a year at the school

4 College Senior

Facilities: The leadership roles we play in each other lives. Regis teaches it's students to be contribute to society and the community.

2 College Senior

Facilities: I feel the financial aid assistance is not very good. When I contacted them for assistance or ideas regarding my tuition problem, I was told to find a community college to attend or apply for scholar ships. That they could not help me. This has made me feel hopeless on trying to complete my degree.

The facilities on campus are what you would expect from a typical college. However, some go above and beyond. The freshman residence halls (O'Connell and DeSmet) are especially nice. Freshmen never want to become sophomores! The athletic fields and athletic center are also pretty good. Students make use of them often.

"Green" Initiatives
The administration makes it a priority to ensure that the University is properly conserving and managing energy and natural resources. Some of the sustainability initiatives include the University running on wind power, a recycling initiative, and a bus pass program to cut down on the use of vehicles.
School Slang
  • The Topper: The Hill-Top Tavern right by campus
  • Wads: Wadsworth Boulevard
Traditions
  • Christmas Decoration Dorm Competition: During the weeks before winter break, dorm floors get together and decorate their floor, and then judges come around to determine which floor is "the best." The winning floor gets a free party when the students come back from winter break.
  • Keg Race: During Ranger Day, there is always a Keg Race where there are several teams that compete to see which team can finish a keg first. The competition is usually on a side street by campus.
  • Ranger Week: This is the week before finals week where there are a bunch of activities on campus, like Mr. Regis, the Hypnotist, Powder Puff football, and Ranger Idol. The best day, by far, is Ranger Day, though, when there is a beer garden and usually bands and motocross entertainment. This is the week where the whole school gets together and celebrates being a Ranger.
Urban Legends
  • O'Connell Hall is believed to be haunted because it was built on top of a lake in which children supposedly drowned.
  • The fourth floor of Main Hall is believed to be haunted, so every Halloween, Campus Security takes about ten students into Main Hall at midnight, and students have said that they could hear ghosts moving around.
Favorite Things To Do
Thursday Thrills is held every Thursday, and the University brings in entertainment, like bands or magicians. Students also enjoy getting free movie tickets from Student Activities for new movies that would normally cost around $10; they also like playing Frisbee or soccer in the quad and intramural sports, too.
