3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I know that Rasmussen is more expensive than our junior college. I will be going year round and with no breaks which will cut the time I attend for my degree down. So on that aspect I'm okay with that.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Im not sure because I havent started classes yet. So it is hard for me to survey all of these areas at this time.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: They have a library online and also on campus as resources.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I dont know how the computer lab is on campus yet, because I havent started not until April 7th. Then I will be taking all online classes. Im not even sure how much I will using the campus computers.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: I love the fact that I have a choice to have an online (mainly) and on campus class. I have 3 boys that I need to take care of and they are in there own activities, so life is very busy. Due to the car accident in Nov. I can no longer labor as my job requires.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: I dont know , because I 'am deoending on taking majority all online classes, because I'am a single mother of 3 and going to school for the 1st time in my life at 38 yrs of age. I usually work a physical job as a laborer, and because of a car accident I dont think I will beable to work in that profession.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I honestly havent even looked into any of that. Iam 38 years old and going to school for the 1st time. I knew nothing about any of this or really what and should be offered I guess.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Iam taking all online classes, but also when avalible will take on campus class. My 1st semester I will be taking Intro to Buisness ,Finacial Accounting, Computer Apps and Buisness Systems, then Reading and Writing Stageries. There is 24/7 online help/tutor. There is also online library and learning center. The tutors I can use at the school and also avalible online. The 2nd semester I have the avaliblity to get a job there to help pay for my tuition. When I have completed school and have recieved my bachelors degree they will help place you with a job.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I have not yet started school. But I can go off of the registering process. Registering was very easy and effieciant. I went to the campus twice. The 1st time was to meet with an advisor and pick the profession and degree. The 2nd time was to go over the chosen classes and finacial aid information. Along with that visit I signed and went over the student loans and what was avalible to me.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: So far the people I have came in contact with have been deceit. I have only delt with finacial aid, career service advisor, and program manager.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Iam just beginning my 1st year/semester April 7th so not really sure what to expect.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: As I stated earlier I feel as though the professors are very supportive and really want you to succeed. The professors are very approachable and easy to work with. I have enjoyed my time here so far.

2 College Junior

Career Services: As far as I know there is not post -grad service at my school.

4 College Junior

Facilities: So far so good. Enjoying my Nursing School experiences.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student body at my school is mostly nontraditional. The program is mostly women from 22-40 years of age. Some women have families ( children),some have full time jobs and most have had some college experiences at other universities.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I have had okay experience with the online portion of some of the courses. I am a more traditional learner and prefer the classroom rather than the internet.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The unique aspect of this Nursing program is that it is well supported by the staff. They go out of their way to help you understand difficult issues in healthcare. They help guide you to find the right resources to help learn the newest, safest technologies to care for difficulty patients. The Professors are approachable and want each student to succeed in the program. The curriculum and workload are challenging, but with the support of the staff I feel confident that I will obtain my goal of becoming a Registered Nurse.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: As stated above there is a lot of support to help be successful with obtaining an Associates in Nursing. We not only have the support of instructors ,but are also given on line tools to help us with understanding and learning difficult Nursing interventions

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: The Campus is a shared building with a bank. Student centers and libraries are quite small.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: We are online with other Rasmussen Colleges in Illinois. Professors work hard to make sure we are all able to use the technologies we need.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel the tuition I am paying is worth the schooling, however it is hard to come up with the money after each quarter. I am able to work as a CNA at a Nursing Home in the city in which I live. I can only work every other weekend as my employer has no part- time positions that with work with my class schedule.

I have met with the Financial Aid Counsler at the school and she has been helpful, however my out of pocket expensive every 11 weeks is about 1000.00. That amount is with Financial Aid. I know after graduation it will be worth the money ,but at this time it is quite a burden to come up with 1000.00 every 11 weeks.I realize I will be paying back my loans after graduation and will do so. It is just hard at this time in my life to come up with the extra money.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: My overall experience at Rasmussen College is great. I like anyone else have had issues but so minor that they do not affect me as a student. I have only had issues with one teacher in the 2 yrs I have been attending.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Since I am taking online courses I can reschedule the appropriate amount of classes and also if take on to much I can take classes off within a certain time limit. I will not have to transfer any credits as this school takes you through the whole degree. However, I do plan to attend an additional college after my degree to also get an degree as an Ultrasound Technician.

5 College Senior

Career Services: I am currently in a course that shows you all of these options, so far I have learned of the Alumni Network program, they help you to find a job and even help you to build a resume. They were on public speaking so it is easier for you in a interview and along with the AHIMA membership I have through Rasmussen College I am able to put my resume on this site and look for current job postings within my area.

College Senior

Facilities: I do not know any of this due to online courses.
