College Sophomore

Facilities: I don't visit the campus

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love that I am able to do classes online and the whole process had been fairly easy.

College Sophomore

Campus Resources: All of my classes are online and I never go on campus

College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I never go on campus, but I know that they have a library and rooms with Macs, Alienware computer, PCs, and other necessary things.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I love my major. The workload can be tough sometimes, especially with a big design or animation project, but It's usually fine. I might have a hard time finding a good graphic design job, though.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The instructors are usually great. The school offer free tutoring services. Class registration is simple. Workload is pretty good.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: For the most part it has been fine. I need all my classes online, like I was promised I would get, but sometimes there are none available.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I'm not sure how good the career center is at my school, because I have not tried it yet.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition and financial aid process is fairly easy and quick. At times I feel like I'm wasting my money, especially when taking a class that either has nothing to do with my major or that doesn't teach me much, but for the most part, it's been worth it.

Online Courses: I love online courses, although I've never tried on campus classes. I love being able to work on my own time instead of specific times, and I feel I can learn much more with online classes.

Academic Experience: fast pace, learn many things and able to implement them in future career

Student Body: this school is very divers there are all ages and ethnicities

Online Courses: the work load is a lot of busy work but most of it is fun and you learn a lot. they really work with you and help you register for classes and answer any question. most of my instrutors are awesome at grading and answering question. the only issue I have found is some instructors are slow at returning grades and don't give feedback on why they gave you the grade.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I believe that by choosing to pursue my degree I am making a long term investment. At Rasmussen I feel confident about studying here. Eighty-five percent of graduates find placement in their field of study so I feel very secure knowing that while I'm spending a lot to get my degree, it will all pay off when I graduate. The financial aid process went smoothly. There are a ton of people in the office who genuinely love to help students succeed. Rasmussen also has a locked in and lowered tuition rate. That's just one of the many things that Rasmussen has to offer its students financially. I give them an A+.

Campus Resources: So far from what I saw the college is a very comfy atmosphere and is also very welcoming , doesnt have that stuffy serious look a normal school would have

Campus Resources: We have the library, the resource center, and the lounge. That's about it. Unfortunately the nursing students (white coats) have taken over the building and it's hard at times to utilize any of the resources on campus because they are either too loud or are in every available space.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The process went smoothly, but I found out that there are scholarships available to potential students that are not being offered out.

Academic Flexibility: I have experienced some (less than positive) issues pertaining to the clarity (the wording chosen by Rasmussen) on some of their tests and assignments. The lack of clarity has affected my scores on a handful of occasions. The ease of transferrig credits has been smooth (no complaints). The response time to questions/voicemails/emails sent or left by me, has been an issue at times. I have also been a bit disappointed by Rasmussen not sending out "formal report cards/ grade reports" after a class has been completed. I wish Rasmussen would publicly acknowledge their honor students (either on their school webiste or some other venue). I am disappointed by the lack of scholarship funding available for students with outstanding academic achievement as well!

3 College Senior

Career Services: I have heard, through my school and through some peers, that Rasmussen provides after graduation, job placement opportunities/assistnace. I have not yet looked into this, nor have I had a need for it at this time.

Academic Flexibility: Students in the nursing program MUST have flexibility, because things in the course change all the time. Locations for classes, hours for labs and classes, and even clinical days are never 100% certain. When I first came in I was told that I shouldn't even work while I was in school, and they were so right in telling me that.

Campus Resources: The Rasmussen Fort Myers campus doesn't have much in terms of "resources." There's a learning center, which is just a large room filled with computers and a staff member to answer questions. There's a library with additional computers. And there's a student lounge. Nothing too exciting really.

Campus Resources: My campus offers quite a selection of different activities each week. This week, in fact, is spirit week. Rasmussen will be holding the annual "dip off" where students and faculty can make their favorite kind of dip or bring in chips, and everyone on campus that day will have the opportunity to try each one. It's a lot of fun!

4 College Senior

Online Courses: Rasmussen makes online courses so simple to understand! There are several resources available to help students through the courses, and the instructors are always eager to answer any questions.
