3 College Freshman

Facilities: The school has recently added a lot of new buildings such as a science building and a student center, but the parking lot and outside stairwells are falling apart, and need attention badly

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: The school has classes during all times of the day to accommodate everyone's schedules

4 College Freshman

Student Body: We are all going our own separate ways, and since it is a commuter college I don't get to meet everyone but I have made a lot of new friends in my first year here

3 College Freshman

Career Services: Its a community college, so they help with jobs, but you're on your own for the most part

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is about 2k per semester. its great!

Facilities: RVCC is a typical community college. There is little to no school spirit (although they do try), most people keep to themselves, and parking is terrible. I chose RV because I believe that traditional four year schools are ridiculously over priced and as a young adult who is paying for my education on my own, I wanted to choose the most affordable route. The professors here are very passionate about what they do and offer as much help as they possibly can to their students. I've never actually had a problem with a single professor so far! The student body however is another story.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's a community college. Classes are very affordable.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Classes are small. Professors are pretty good for the most part.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Many class choices in all different times and days.

3 College Senior

Student Body: A LOT of diversity at this school. People come from all sorts of educational backgrounds.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Best value for your education, really reasonable tuition compared to other schools.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Not a fan of the online courses. It is difficult to get in touch with teachers and layout does not make for easy learning experience.

College Senior

Career Services: There is some job placement but I wouldn't know. Most focus is on transfer counsel since it is a 2 year school.

3 College Senior

Facilities: Many clubs to choose from. Not enough parking, not enough study space. Great gym with pool. Lots of computer labs but the computers are slow.

3 College Senior

Facilities: The academic programs were well worth it while the social scene lacked. The campus needs major work while the facilities are nice.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I was sometimes able to flexibly schedule my courses around work but the most frustrating thing was the teachers. They don't seem interested in sticking around to assist you and leave you to struggle a bit more.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: As a community college financial aid is a must. I got my moneys worth towards the education and with my grades earned my financial aid.

3 College Senior

Student Body: Most students are just there to learn and go home. Not many of them are interactive some seem career driven but others look like they're just there to pass the time.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: It's very basic much like how classes are face to face. The classes do hold some interest but ,again, professors need to be willing to assist students.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Since it is a community college its resources are very basic. However, in the art program we have very high- tech computers with great printers and simple library resources. The campus could use some work.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The school offers the best computers with great wireless access. Network reliability is occasionally troublesome;however it does have its uses.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors during class seem, for the most part, to be genuinely interesting but very unreliable for any extra help. The facilities are basic--not to great but not too bad. The workload is reasonable--the class seems to take longer than the actual homework.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors, again, could give more effort into their job. The curriculum is awesome being understandably difficult and the class registration process is simple. The workload is heavy but very reasonable. I have yet to come across special study options as well any programs.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: The courses are challenging and really worth the money; however the staff could be more willing to help and give students individual attention.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: The timeline format was very organized and we had a consistent pattern of doing things, so it made it easier to remember to do assignments. It was a lot of work because most of the time assignments for various chapters would be due, there has to be a real good time management skill when taking online classes. we had forums which helped us stay connected with the other students and their opinions.
