1 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Literally they live like animals. This place is a s*** hole.

3 College Freshman

Majors: The workload is okay.

The Curriculum of the nursing program is set up different.

The price is outrageous

4 College Freshman

Academics: Lots of majors and places to study

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Very safe, little shopping places

4 College Freshman

Computers: Lots of computers and plenty of printing money given

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There is a bar across the street but no transportation. Other than that and the places I named there isn't much

3 College Student

Weather: The snow can make it hard to get around.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I feel very safe at this school. Sometimes I don't like walking alone at night, but we have very little crime.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Students get $25 worth of printing with school printers, which is more than enough for most students. The internet can be bad sometimes.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I would say the financial aid is typical for a private school. I have had an easier time with financial aid than many other people I know.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The gym is newer and has pretty nice equipment. There are quite a few people from the community that workout at our gym. Some people go to the sports games, but not a huge amount. There isn't much school spirit.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Everyone wears sweats and t-shirts every day. Most girls and boys are interested in partying and hooking up. Seems like a typical group of college students.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It is a small school and there isn't much the usually goes on. I don't like the area, I would have rather gone to a school that was a little bigger so I could have a better college experience. Quincy University is nothing special.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Parking for freshmen is pretty good because the main parking for them is close to the dorms. Security does like giving tickets for people who are parked where they aren't supposed to be. I can usually find a decent parking spot.

2 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: There is very little to do in Quincy. It is two hours from St. Louis, but it can get boring being in Quincy for too long.

2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: It is not a very lively town. There is one club and several dumpy bars. Most nightlife happens at house parties near campus.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: There are two places on campus to get food. The cafeteria is one and I hate eating there. The food generally tastes pretty bland and you do not stay full very long. There is also the UC where you can stand in line and they make your food either at the cold bar where they have sandwiches and wraps or at the hot bar where you can get burgers, chicken strips, phillies. The UC also has some snacks and drinks, but mostly chips and candy bars.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There a mostly chain restaurants: Appleebees, Buffalo Wild Wings, TGI Fridays. However if you venture around, there are some pretty good places to eat like One, Thyme Square and Tiramisu.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: It can be cold, but the dorms are not too far from the classrooms so it isn't too bad.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The food options are very poor and I hate having to eat on campus. There is currently some work being done to update north campus in the lobby and in the science classrooms. The gym is decent, but the pool hours are difficult to work with.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: There is very little campus life. Not much goes on around campus. It is a decent school for a small school.

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life in my school do alot for the community and are also very friendly

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Drinking is the most popular activity. Dont see much drug use--I don't hang with this crowd

Campus Housing: All of the dorms on campus are fairly old except for one building, so they are pretty run down. All of the buildings are close so it doesn't take much time to get from one side of the campus to the other. The food here isn't great so I recommend choosing the lowest food plan and buying your own food if at all possible. There isn't a lot of students so campus is pretty low key; there isn't a whole lot that goes on around campus.

Transportation: The transportation between main campus and north campus is really good. There are buses that run constantly throughout the day every 10-15 minutes so they make it easy to get to classes. Sometimes the bus breaks down though or the driver has to take a break so students have to wait longer and it can cause an issue sometimes. These buses are just for students so there are no other stops except main and north campus. There is also a public bus stop on campus that will take you around town if need be.
