From Queens University of Charlotte

When society needed to expand educational opportunities in the region, Queens rose to the occasion in 1857 and was one of the very first universities to educate women.

When soldiers returned home after WWII and wanted to take classes, we opened our doors.

As banking and healthcare grew in Charlotte – our McColl School of Business and Presbyterian School of Nursing answered the call.

In response to the growing digital divide, we established the Center for Digital Equity, a national leader in increasing access to technology and broadband internet.

When we need to reinvent ourselves after a world-changing pandemic…

We are inspired by our motto, "not to be served but to serve."

When others back away from new challenges,

Royals rise to every occasion.
