So far, Purdue University has been a fantastic place to get an excellent education and make new connections. I have made many new friends and made it my second home. So far, I am involved with leadership positions on campus and becoming involved in different cultural events/clubs. Purdue has the resources to become involved on campus, and as long as people are willing to become involved, they do! There are many activities around campus, places to eat, and places to hang out. Even though Purdue is not a big party scene, many events make people feel excited and involved, especially closer to the summertime! I have no regrets about choosing Purdue, and I am especially proud of our athletics teams here on campus, with basketball being our best sport and the most fun game to go with friends.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Purdue so far. Although I am only a freshman, I have been quickly immersed into the culture and lifestyle on campus and I love it! There are so many different opportunities to get involved on campus and to make the most out of your college experience. From athletics to student living, it is very obvious that the school cares about their students and wants them all to have the best experience whether living on campus or off campus. As a Hospitality and Tourism Management student, it is so clear that every professor and classmate I have is very passionate about what they do. Boiler up!
Purdue University is a stellar institution that provides a plethora of opportunities for it's students. Faculty members are accessible and open to collaboration with students beyond the classroom in organizational work, research, and other academically enriching projects. Research opportunities, specifically, are available to students at each stage of their education. Professors and educators are keen on integrating research into the coursework and the educational experience as a whole. In the classroom, professors deliver challenging but thorough teachings. Given that it is a larger institution, it might be easy to become lost among the sea of students. However, the collective faculty at Purdue feel passionate about ensuring the success of each individual student. Also, the Center of Career Opportunities at Purdue has a great team of individuals who help counsel your next steps! By attending Purdue University, you are getting the most out of your education and the cost of attendance.
