3 College Freshman

Transportation: I wish I lived closer

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I'm not in any clubs

3 College Freshman

Weather: I don't like it when it rains there

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: No one really talks to me

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: It wasn't as fast as I hoped for

College Freshman

Greek Life: I don't know what that is

4 College Freshman

Computers: There are usually always computers available.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: I don't interact with others, but it is somewhat diverse from what I can see.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Did not recieve the aid that I needed, but did recieve some help.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I went into the office to make sure I was completing everything correctly and they said I had everything filled out correctly and completed. But then I kept getting an email saying my spot would be taken if I didn't confirm my financial aid, so I had to go back to the office twice just to get it straightened out. And they never answer the phones in the office!

3 College Junior

Weather: The weather isn't that bad because I only live about 12 minutes from school, so if it snows, the roads are usually clear. When your on campus, the weather isn't that bad either because the buildings are so close. The parking lot is just so full sometimes, you have to park really far away.

4 College Junior

Computers: There are lots of computer located around campus. There is sometimes limited availability, especially around finals and such, but for the most part, no one has complaints when it comes to the computers or the lab.

5 College Junior

Diversity: Everyone at Purdue North Central has the same opportunities as the next person. There is great diversity and it is accepted by all!

College Junior

Transportation: We do not have any campus transportation at this time.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I do not live in off-campus housing, therefore, I do not know any of these answers

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: The apartments located across from the university that a lot of students live in are not specifically for Purdue North Central students, so there are a lot of other people living in the buildings. It does not have a very "college" feeling atmosphere.

College Sophomore

Transportation: There are no transportation options offered to students at this campus.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: There have been recent improvements within the financial aid office. Prior to this year I have always had difficulties with the Financial Aid office. You must seek out their help, they will not contact you about an issue.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The entire program is built to prepare you to enter your career of choice immediately following graduation. Although the expectations and requirements are set higher within the nursing major, I know that this will make me the best nurse I can be with the Purdue name always on my transcripts.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Laptops are not necessarily required for classes. There are a few computer labs on campus that are never too full. The only time a laptop is required is when there are in class electronic exams and there have been special arrangements made for students who do not own their own laptop. I prefer to use my computer over the schools provided desk tops as my computer is faster.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is quite a diversity of students on campus. From what I have observed most students are very accepting of each others differences.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The school is surrounded by corn fields. There is not much immediately surrounding the school but Michigan City is just minutes away from campus.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: There is not an option to live on campus although there are apartments near by. I have always commuted from another town to school.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: As we are a small campus, there is no indication that drugs are used on campus. There is also a restriction of smoking tobacco on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life exists on campus for anyone who wants to join. There are very few options and I have not noticed much action from the Greeks. All housing is located off campus.
