4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The campus has a pretty fair amount of resources that can be used if you look for them academic wise as the library and student success center have a lot of information available. The athletic centers are lacking though as the gym is small. there is occasionally events going on at the school though maybe once a week but it's usually small things.

Campus Resources: For the most part Prairie State's computer network is really good and you can easily print in the library for a small fee. On the other hand the wireless internet is there, but it is fairly horrible as it constantly logs the user out so much so that you'd be better off using your own personal wireless network.

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: I haven't taken any of the online courses at Prairie State.

Academic Experience: It is pretty good to have a psychology major at Prairie State College especially because most of the people that teach it have actually worked in the field and have stories to share about almost every topic. The work load is pretty easy most of the time but sometimes everything can pile up at once. their also isn't that many job opportunities given here.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: In the courses I admit that I have learned a considerable amount from psychology, sociology, philosophy and the English courses but the math department seemed to lack a little and seem too simple.

2 College Freshman

Facilities: There isn't much to set Prairie State College apart from other colleges it has a pretty basic facility with no housing and not much outside space.

2 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: their are some classes that are only available at certain times of the day especially if you have late start classes.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: I don't know all that much about the career services myself but i know that they are available to the students.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: The student body is ok not too remarkable, but it has a mix up of older students and younger students.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Prairie State College is a nice school for what it is. The professors are what make the school interesting as in the case of psychology classes all of the instructors have a fair amount of real life experience in the field and they teach on what to expect in the field.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: Have not had the chance to speak to someone about this.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would stick to morning classes, rather than doing night classes.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Library is the best place to go when trying to do homework and focus on studying.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Network is okay most of the time. You don't need your own personal laptop but most computers are always being used by student's surfing the internet.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial Aid office is a joke. They are not helpful at all.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Havent' taken any online courses

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: It is very difficult to be a Nursing major at this school. Every other person attending prairie state is either there for Nursing or Criminal Justice.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Class registration is the worst. The advisor's don't help at all.

1 College Sophomore

Student Body: Most student's only attend school because they qualify for financial aid, and most know that once the refund checks come back, they get "free money." Most students only care about what they wear to school and not what they learn.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Some teachers don't care about the classrooms and how hard and difficult the material can be.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The environment isn't always great. People who don't even attend the school come to just sit around with friends. Atrium is always loud and makes everything hard to focus.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I'm ready to leave this area

3 College Junior

Student Body: It's similar to high school in that some girls are cliquey and rude.

3 College Junior

Facilities: We have a nice theatre.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have a full ride scholarship for volleyball.
